Awh thanks for the compliment 🙏🏿 we appreciate it because most people are negative towards us! We hope one day our beloved Juba city will be as developed as Dubai!
I shall never forget Juba, because it's where I met my wife in 2012, and we got married the following year in 2013, Windhoek - Namibia. Well, I was on a peacekeeping expedition 2011-2013. I miss Tomping, Hiamarat areas and the famous Home & Away, Bedouin and many other places, Juba was fun and at times dangerous too, but I had a privilege to experience good day and nights. God bless SS and all its people.
Thank you so much for your kind words, I'm glad you had good experience in juba and yes Juba misses you and glad you found your wife here ,hope you guys will visit again Bless your family too
Is that what Juba city looks like! It's impressive. Is it clean everywhere? , the roads were clean, it's bustling and still getting it's face in the continent. I can't say that I am proud, but we shall surely get to where we wanna be.❤
Juba is not clean, as a current resident, i appreciate effort by Lily but i believe she mean to only show the nice parts of the town, but take a drive to gudele, munuki, konyo konyo just to mention a few you will be welcomed with hips and hips of garbage along the main roads.....
Of course we already know that what human being doesn’t like peace? The issue is more nuanced than that it had to do with greed, political dominance, resources as well as manipulation from foreign forces (primarily Uganda and America). Thankfully we managed to work through all that and the civil war has ended in any case thanks for the well wishes.
Noted but you have to remember that this is still fairly impressive for a country that was only independent for just over 10 years; compare this Juba city to just 10 years ago and now imagine what we can do with another 5-10 years it only just keeps growing
@Onen Robert, I don't know whether you got me right. Analogy contradicts your argument. Juba being less developed has nothing to do with South Sudan being a young country, it is because of war and corruption. Try to understand my statement, "South Sudan still has a long way to go" Rome too, had a long way to go; it wasn't built in one day, But, with a lot of work.
@@aleks3906 Alek I can tell you’re south Sudanese by your name, yani our own people are our biggest critics which is fine because we want the best for our country lakeen you should know that there are people who use those words to continue to punch down on us - let’s try to use more positive talking for our people we already have gone through so many negative things let’s say we are happy to see Juba has now progressed compared to where it was in 2011 and we hope to see more progress in the next 5-10 years
Peace ☮️☮️☮️ in the country is allowing the creativity of people to improve the community.🎉🎉🎉 Peace and healing from past trauma and failures. My prayers for South Sudan 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Same here my sister. I would like to share these two dream I had!! I dreamed twice that African leader must build their armyes because the west are planning to send 800 thousand troops to invade Africa. Please share with your people
I got bad memories when i saw that famous round about called " Corner/ Kona" where all early ( 5-7am) travellers going to board buses destined to Uganda and Kenya get rounded up, checked even in their under pants and socks, loose every foreign currency, local currency and any valuable at gun point, manned by military police. The 5 days i stayed there in a hotel were never good and that was in 2013 before Machar/ Kiir war. I was driven on a boda, sitted in the middle, a gun pointing on my back... praying my "last prayers", destination Kona round about.
So much potential but look closely and you will see the chaos and lack of planning -- trenches dug up on sides of roads and just left , no proper pavements , unfinished buildings, reminds me of Lagos but they have open sewage in their streets. South Sudan has oil revenue and lots of it but sadly none of it is being put back into the community or the building of infrastructure-- lots of new cars and 4x4s so you can see where the money is going and where it is not going .
Hands down one of the most beautiful cities in Africa
Awh thanks for the compliment 🙏🏿 we appreciate it because most people are negative towards us! We hope one day our beloved Juba city will be as developed as Dubai!

Sending you love from Winnipeg Manitoba (Canada 🇨🇦) to my beloved country of South Sudan!
