I am on a 21 day trip to Vietnam in December. But I have 2 extra days at the end in Hanoi. Do you think it is worth traveling to Sapa for last 2 days over just relaxing in Hanoi?
It depends what you like. If you are nature lover, then definitely I would recommend SAPA. It’s hilly area, mainly for trekking, rice fields are too beautiful. Also keep in mind, in Dec SAPA is extremely cold, sometimes it’s snow as well… Travel time to SAPA from Hanoi by road is 6hrs that also you have to consider…

It’s around 150 USD. I won’t recommend taxi, buses are very good..
