    Taking it back to where the first Dialed in video was made! Had fun riding this with you and Sam this summer, Bloodstone really has a way of bringing out the not so family friendly language in everyone.

      @Dialed1  Год назад +2

      Absolutely, that is right! Yea man, that particular ride this summer was a rough one for me on Bloodstone, lol. Crashed on that rock skinny turn. But yes, Bloodstone can turn anyone into a foul beast👺 for a day😂

      Yea man, wanted to keep this one raw to highlight the soul crushing nature of Bloodstone! Pretty happy with the bike now; It took a minute.. 29 is just fine, Yeti was prob ideal for this trail...

    I absolutely love that trail, good look at it in its entirety! That first spot that got Evan is my nemesis, just so awkward… Great vid! 🤘

      Thanks brother! Yea, it’s funny the polarizing response this trail emotes. Some love it, some hate it, I’m sure there are some in between that you don’t hear from. I think it’s rad to have trails like this mixed in, It helps expand the skillet if you’re open to it. It’s a challenge that feels good to get through. It’s not always fun, and can certainly release some language and emotion. But once you conquer a difficult section, it can leave you with a sense of accomplishment.

    Nice job pushing through! Taking the walk and cleaning those sections! Respect. Bloodstone is no joke. High highs and low lows of emotion.

      Thanks Andrew, It’s definitely become more manageable the more I have ridden it and similar trails like out at SplitRock wilds which I’ll be featuring later on in the series. I’m assuming you’ve rode this trail? How about Splitrock?

    • @RocksteadyMTB

      @@Dialed1 yeah I rode Bloodstone a couple times this summer. Once you learn the lines it gets a bit better. I've just started doing double black tech over the last year and loving it! It's amazing how much you can progress over a season! Piedmont has been my stomping grounds. I haven't tried Splitrock yet. Looks intense though!

    • @Dialed1
      @Dialed1  Год назад +1

      @@RocksteadyMTB That is awesome, I love Piedmont. I’ve been doing much of the same, mixing in the black tech to broaden the skillet. You’d really dig Splitrock, It’s just a longer set of trails and the whole thing isn’t like bloodstone but it does have extended sections, almost like there’s a few bloodstones out there amongst all the trail. The place is at the top of my list right now in terms of Minnesota trails. I’ll have some videos out on the place in about a month once I get done with the Tioga videos.

    Back to where it all began. Damn Bloodstone really got Evan’s blood boiling lol 🤬 I’ve experienced micro-rages on this trail as well. Did you guys get the two piece combo with a serving of El Jefe before the main course just to make it extra intolerable?

    Yah! 👊These types of trails are growing on me! I like that you kept this raw. Awesome to see the cleans and the struggles! Unfortunately there is not much in the TC area to prep for this stuff. Guess I just need to spend more time in our northern region next year.

    • @Dialed1
      @Dialed1  Год назад +2

      The only section in the city I can think of off hand that is a good prep is Brownie lake at Theodore Wirth. Some of those sections are down right savage! Yea these types of trails take a bit of ride time to figure out how to enjoy the battle that ensues.

    • @Dialed1
      @Dialed1  Год назад +1

      Kirk, you’re right on, I’m glad someone noticed! it was some painstaking audio work on this one, I layered both audio tracks, and mixed them to get enough clarity from whoever was talking, basically ducking the audio of one while increasing the audio from the other and vice versa..
