I own the Trangia 28T (aka Mini) and love it. Bought mine when they first came out with it years ago now. Since you're new to using it here's a few quick tips: 1. Buy two of the long handled silicone SPORKS or SPATULAS to use when cooking chopped foods or stirring foods. Use them as if you're tossing a fresh salad and it will keep foods from burning on the bottom instead of simply moving the foods around to stir them. 2. When winds come up making the flames flare having the longer handled Utinsiles will keep you from unexpected burns on your fingers or wrists. 3. Use the simmer ring ( not the top cap) to put out the flame. Again if the winds suddenly come up a face burn is very likely if you are blowing it out with your breath. 4. When using the skillet as a pot cover ALWAYS have the top-side facing up on the pot. Facing it upside-down will cause a vacuum and is very hard to release it from the pot until it is fully cooled...that can be a problem with some foods that need to be served hot. Anyways, that's my takeaways from using it for years. I was SAD to see that TRANGIA had RECENTLY DISCONTINUED the 28T Mini. They are quite the Collector's kit nowadays.

Oh, so here's the windshield! 😁👍 Problem solved.
Expecting more videos with the Trangia.
    Best wishes from Romania!

I like what you are showing us, but for bike camping I would never trade my Trangia 27 for the mini. A wind screen is an absolute must either way. Stability is also critical, which is where the 27 shines. There's a bit of a weight penalty, but bike camping is not weight restrictive to the extent UL hiking may be. Thank you for taking the time and effort to share your experiences with the rest of the cycling community. Cheers from Montreal QC.

Hi. I don’t actually use a specific cook set bag. I pack it in a 10l dry bag when I’m out and about. Cheers, John.

I like to use the Westwind pot stand. I find that it is about the easiest to use the simmer ring. And youe wind screen is perfect.
