Spotlight on Epidermal Langerhans Cells. This three-dimensional (3D) projection and video shows immunostaining of the membrane-associated C-type lectin receptor CD207 (Langerin) on Langerhans cells in a human epidermal sheet. Images were acquired with a confocal laser scanning microscope as Z-stack (Olympus, FLUOVIEW-FV 3000, equipped with OBIS lasers: 488 nm and 40x UPlanXApo objective) and Olympus FV31S-SW software. 3D projection and video of LCs was created with ImarisViewer 9.8 software (© Oxford Instruments).
