    Good vid…Ultra definitely the way to go with these two. I’ve got a Double Score 2 SMF and was possibly considering the single freq Ultra as a backup to it.

    Honestly, that's a complete annihilation for the ultra. I was expecting a difference but not that extreme of a difference. I would guess that that's at the depth level of an equinox right now and for a single frequency machine that is amazing. Great test!

  • @MrMartybabe

    I like the split format Adam. I’ve watched many of these comparisons and quite often they do one machine on all targets first then the other machine and you’re left trying to remember what a particular target’s death was from 15 minutes ago. Well done again.

      @@DTEKTSUSSEX I have the simplex with the SP24 on it. I have heard a few people saying the SP24 is better over the Ultra as it can miss targets where the SP24 hits them at depth.

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX
      @DTEKTSUSSEX  11 месяцев назад

      The SP24 is elliptical whereas the stock coil on the Ultra is standard 'circular'.
      The elliptical coil will have better separation meaning you'll be able to detect more targets in trashy or target-rich areas, however you lose some depth compared with the larger stock coil.
      So it's just a case of having the right tool for the job.
      Trashy area: SP24
      Non-trashy area: SP28
      (of those two coils).

    I have the simplex + with the latest programming, the chattering came out in the upgrade. My point is if you go back to some of the RUclips a year and a half ago, you'll see the same results as the Ultra. If you learn what the Simplic plus is telling you, you will find as much as you will the Plus.
    P.S. if your looking to buy a new metal detector, I'd at least buy the legend.

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX
      @DTEKTSUSSEX  2 месяца назад +1

      I'm on the Nokta worldwide field team so I do know the machine inside and out. The Ultra is definitely a better performer (which is saying something considering how good the plus is!!!).
      The Legend is the flagship but not everyone has the funds for it, or has the experience to learn it's ins and outs. The Simplex and Score lines are perfect for someone who wants a simple yet powerful machine on a budget to learn and gain experience.

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX
      @DTEKTSUSSEX  11 месяцев назад +2

      Hi,
      The Ultra is definitely deeper than the original Plus, however the currently isn't a 13" coil for the Ultra so it's hard to say whether you would gain depth with the stock 11".
      You do, however, gain a lot of extra settings and adjustments which supercharge the performance of the machine in so many ways.

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX
      @DTEKTSUSSEX  Год назад +2

      Hi!
      In terms of raw performance the Legend will generally find more and it will find it deeper...
      ...however...
      ...the BEST machine is the one that's right for the individual user. I don't know your experience but if you're a complete beginner, for example, the Legend will probably be too complicated and you're more likely to give up.
      If you're a beginner, go for the Simplex. If you have a few years' experience behind you, go for the Legend 😊👍

    Wow I love my Simplex but I'm right half to cheat lol This simplex ultra 4 in deeper Holy crap Is there a way to enhance the depth with the regular simplex Plus What did they do They added something is the coil better Is it do I have to buy the Ultra to get this depth just the thought before I break up my love affair with my Simplex

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX
      @DTEKTSUSSEX  9 месяцев назад

      The plus is an amazing machine but they've somehow improved on it with the Ultra.
      The main difference will be the frequency chance. The Plus is 12khtz and the Ultra is 15khtz. The only way to get more depth with the Plus would be to use the huge SP35 coil.
      The new machine is more adjustable too.

    Multi frequency is just a gimmick ...just get 15 and go with it

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX
      @DTEKTSUSSEX  7 месяцев назад +1

      Definitely not a gimmick. By putting multiple frequencies into the ground you increase the chances of one of those frequencies matching or being close to the sweet spot of the target.
      Also, by the nature of the technology, SMF is much more stable in highly mineralised areas (like the beach) and will penetrate deeper than a single frequency machine.
      15khtz is a decent middle-of-the-road single frequency and will do a decent job. But with SMF you'll find more and you'll find it deeper 👍

    • @krzysztofsadowski8081
      @krzysztofsadowski8081 5 месяцев назад +1

      All of that is not true. Multi is only necessary when ground is highly magnetic. At any different ground is 1000 times better to use single frequency. Most multi or maybe better to say all multi in any brand is only two. Not 3,5,10 just only 2 frequencies, always. Multi help you find something but also is shallow as shit. There is many reasons for that. I give you one or two. You have battery in your detector. Power have boundaries. 1) You can go strong on single or half-half on double or like cheaters from XP, Mainlab etc tell you- simultaneously multi.
      2) because signal from detector is double but half powerful is more sensitive for electromagnetic fields in the air. Then processor take more power for count that and then is even les power for signal. It’s simple. But only one detector maker talking about this openly - Rutus. Thank you for video.

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX
