Yes, she is so nice! I like talking only good about all the artists. Tarja WAS great. Well, she was. Now Anette IS. Both contribute to the band in their own and unique way. Let us appreciate what Tarja did for the sound of the band for so long of time. Now, Anette does her part. And I personally think that no other can substitute her and her role in the band. She's like a little child, who brings such a wonderful atmosphere in the band as a whole now. Let's love and support her! Love you, Anette

@ClaudiaDenise I do think I got that. And yes, soprano is not a singing style. But "classical" and "modern" are. Tarja is a classical singer and Anette a modern singer, and last time I heard Sharon, she sang modern technique as well. Anette may sound different, but it's the same technique.
Probably the best song off of Dark Passion Play, and probably the best live. I like how I can hear more Marco singing in this version. Also Anette's dancing/silly faces/ talking to the crowd is just adorable.

I suppose just the fact they weren't written for Tarja's voice makes all the difference, even though they weren't written for Anette's either. I agree that the next album will be the real decision. @rainmaker4mk that's because the keys are the center point of this band. Guitar is just rythmic, most of the time. Sadly, it doesn't need to be louder :P

Also, Anette's classical range would be soprano and her modern range is not officially known, but since it is not quite as high as soprano, I'd call it mezzosoprano indeed.
when tarja left i was broken hearted! years later i accept anette, and then got my heart broken again when she left! i heard shes gonna come back.. she's just ill and floor is covering for imaginarium tour!

BUT I've notice, that Tarja is more like herself in her own gigs. Nightwish and Tarja in her solo career are both more relaxed and living a dream :) I'm sorry about my bad english :))
