Those 5 horses have one Group One win between them in Europe yet they’ve dominated your major races. Winx might have improved half a length or a length after her first Cox Plate but HR ran 6-7 lengths better afterwards than he did in the Cox Plate. He deserved a return bout. They bottled it. They took the soft options and the easy money which kept the connections in the media spotlight which they appeared to enjoy very much.
It's a shame that none of the decent European horses competed in this because, even though it would be the start of their season, it's a lot fairer track than Moonie Valley which is a dog track

The reason SYT lost races in Europe just proves everything I’ve been saying. In Europe he encountered multiple horses as good as him, or better than him, or nearly as good as him. That’s why, if he had a slightly off day or a poor ride, he was beaten. There are 5 or 6 middle distance horses around that level in Europe most seasons. Probably more. Contrast that with Winx who only raced against vastly inferior opposition. She could run poorly or get a bad ride and still win because her opposition was so bad. An A grade horse in Europe has to run against A Grade and B Grade opposition. If they have a bad day and put in a B Grade performance they get beaten. An A Grade horse in Australia races against C,D,E Grade opposition. If they have a bad day and put in a B Grade performance they still win. That is the story of Winx
But nobody wins 33 in a row mate. Anywhere. I don't care what you think about the opposition. Australia is one of the most difficult places to win consecutively because the racing is rubbish when it comes to tempo. The tracks are rubbish and biased bar Flemington. They slow up and sprint home and no matter how good you are. You are still gonna lose. But she just didn't. It's true that there was a few times where she may have got beat. Like when she was stuck in the gates. But she just didn't. And she did it 33 times in a row. She was a freak. And as good as So You Think was. She was a better horse in every way.

SYT encountered several big kids. Her continuing winning streak was impressive but his career was far more challenging and meritorious and has more credibility. It’s impressive to string 33 wins together but at least 28 of them were very soft. She was just a big fish in a tiny pond. She was beating Hartnell and Happy Clapper in 2016 and still beating them in 2019. How can Australian racing go 4 years and not throw up a better horse than those two in 4 years to push her.
I think the commentators make it annoying for those in Britain because a) they sound corny b) they sound patronising c) they don't come close to our commentators in England Maybe if they one like Aussie Jim (who is a legend here) they’d be alright but it’s hard to enjoy; they sound out of touch.

So imagine how fast Frankel would have run at the Breeders Cup. The bottom line is, Frankel is in a different league to Winx 😀🥇🐎
