Apply it with Bondo! Seriously though,
Use a good high quality brush and avoid the foam. Foam brushes over large jobs fall apart and leave little black chunks over your project.
Use sanding sealer as a base coat on things like pine.

Hoping my coat isn’t bad I tried to make sure there was a layer on the wood and now it looks a little milky hoping it doesn’t affect the stain.

I applied over a painted table with a foam brush and it left a lot of brush marks. Is there a different way for painted surfaces?

Is water based polyurethane the same as Ploycrilic?
I've finished at least 100 rocking chairs w oil poly, and was given Rubio monocoat.Whis I loved and hated.Thrn vom0lete cure of Rubio was much better than poly U poly c And.1 coat as implied by the nsme. The hate part was diff between surfaces during identical rewlquired full cure times. All are 72 hours.Ploy u & x are dry enough in 12 to 15 hours you can relax about stray dog hair or dust curing in the cost. The Rubio was wet to the touch for 60 hours.Same wet at hour 60 as hour 1.Then you can feel heat coming off it in last 12 hours as it hardens. And the faster cure Rubio wasn't any better.I have minimal room. And I'm a retired 23 yr veteran.I don't play well w others. But I have more than a section of land.10 acres by the house are completely fenced in and every time I see a dogs shelter clock is about to run out I add more to my kennel lic and rescue the dog.zi honestly stopped counting a few years ago
But they all get loved fed and have 10 acres to live thrir best life,w dog doors they can come and go as they want from the house. So I go through a little over 350 pounds of dog food a week. Dog hair on Mr in my food and floating around is just the way it is.and I wouldn't trade that for anything.Love dogs. Most ppl can fuck themselves
