Imagine walking around the wilderness for hours just to find something to film that would probably last less than few minutes. Mad respect for people making and filming nature documentaries.

@@MrStefanokj Probably study to become a good camera man first. Get some work experience and solid recommendations. Then network with the right people. Good luck, you can do it. It just takes dedication.

What’s not to love, traveling to remote places, adventure, nature, animals, and a few set backs that will make the story of a lifetime. This is my dream job

I've been sincerely so thankful for BBC Earth animal documentaries and all the crew members. I have three sons and it's like I always tune in to BBC Earth and thankfully and happily they love watching it!
I commend these people for there dedication towards us seeing the beauties of nature.
So to sum it up:
Ability to endure uncomfortable weather
And patience. A lot of patience.
And travel to beautiful parts of the world, see beautiful creatures that you'd more or less never be able to otherwise.
And a lot of mosquito bites

This is like the terrain my father used when working, he's work for the government for thinking how to distribute clean water to remote village and for that he needs to go to the place.

No one said it's easy but it's absolutely worth it. It's an adventure, exploration, finding new knowledge and best of it is that you'll be doing a service to research and studies. I really wish I had a job like this.
I appreciate the efforts of these filmmakers who in the end give us marvelous tv series & documentaries related to planet Earth & wildlife. Love you guys (fan boy of Nat Geo, BBC wildlife, animal planet & Discovery channel)

Yes while was making a stop motion animation in my backyard I heard some terrifying noise that sounded like something was being murdered, some ducks were bumping 5 feet away from me, and an opossum that attempted to eat my shoe also later I found out the terrifying noise was a chipmunk murdering a wood pecker but these things didn’t stop me I still got the animation done
I thought a fishercat scream was kids playing
I would love to have the opportunity to try filming wildlife
