A7s III .... higher fps, but I end up with having both 😆 ... A7 IV has better option for still.

@@SonyEuro I have one already actually with A7s III too, there are two ways of attaching matte-box to a lens, 1). with clamp-on ring adapter to the front outer diameter of the lens 2). with filter ring adapter. Finally I choose the one with filter ring adapter, yes it's 95mm for FE200-600mm. Since my matte box has diameter of 114mm then I need a 95-114mm adapter. But since my filter adapter don't have front inner thread, I cannot use existing circular filter, Option 1 is also possible though for FE200-600mm .... the outer front diameter of this lens is 100mm ( I measured it by my self), so with a 100 to 114mm clamp-on ring adapter this option should also possible, not many ring adapter available though, but you can always 3D print it.

Hi Chris your video looks great but how's the sound recording. I'm a photographer going over to video and in auto focus my camera pick up the sound from the lens motor so I have to focus in manual which is not so good yet. that's why I'm thinking to get a camcorder instead.
You should have a silent focusing mode. However, just practice your manual focusing.

In wildlife filmmaking, I think they have external recorder to record those sounds. They'll have much better audio when its from a powerful external mic and recorder
There are a few options mentioned, I think it depends on what's important/valuable to you on considerations and compromises such as time vs effort, clean sound vs passable sound. From what's been mentioned, i) use manual focusing (takes some getting used to, higher effort) ii) using an external recorder is common to keep the signal to noise ratio to a minimum, something as simple as a Zoom H1n Pro can make a big difference to your sound, it will need syncing up later. (higher effort, high quality sound). iii) A third option is to use an external microphone if you aren't already such as a Rode Videomic to further distance/isolate the sound from picking up on internal sound iv) A quieter lens is another option. The good news is there's plenty of options depending on your needs :)

Ha right? I use 10 bit 420 and it’s still sick for slog3. I get 13-14 stops. He can 16 supposedly with raw. Buy a ninja too I guess

It's really nice, but, why, oh why would you add the black bars top and bottom!? Can this stop being a trend now please? If you shoot anamorphic, great, if you don't, don't pretend you have!
A lot of people will view this content on a smartphone - RUclips - by flipping it 90' visually it is more suitable and appealing to a "mobile device" audience.
@@manuelrota6268 but it isn't though. The editor is taking valuable vertical screen real estate for aesthetic purposes. It doesn't enhance the viewing experience on any device. I have viewed this on mobile, both portrait and landscape and on my monitor, none of which benefit from the added black bars.

It depends on the user end, someone would say you just not use the proper viewing devices.
@@danielmunitzk4287 trust me when I say, it's not. It has been edited on a 16:9 timeline and had black bars added top and bottom to make it look cinematic. My monitor is 32:9 which just makes these fakes look even more ridiculous. If this was true 21:9 it would look very cinematic on my monitor. How are you viewing this? On a phone? Who is viewing this wrong, me or you?
