Há muitos anos atrás, o barco de madeira chamado "Delfim 4" era uma embarcação de pesca de lulas que navegava nas águas cristalinas do sul de Portugal. Com a sua rede de pesca, os pescadores passavam noites inteiras no mar, à procura dos melhores locais para pescar.
O "Delfim 4" foi construído com muito esforço e cuidado pelos pescadores da região. Cada pedaço de madeira era escolhido à mão, com cuidado e precisão. Com o passar do tempo, o barco tornou-se bem conhecido entre os pescadores e tornou-se um dos barcos de pesca de lulas mais bem sucedidos.
Com o declínio da pesca da lula, muitos dos barcos de pesca da região acabaram por ser abandonados ou vendidos. O "Delfim 4" foi vendido a um empresário turístico que teve a visão de o transformar num barco de turismo para levar os visitantes às grutas do Algarve.
O empresário investiu muito dinheiro na restauração do barco, que estava como novo após a pintura e instalação de equipamento de segurança e conforto para os turistas. O "Delfim 4" aguarda agora ansiosamente o dia de levar os turistas a ver as grutas do Algarve com amor.
Os habitantes locais dizem que o barco ainda é conhecido como "Delfim 4" pelos pescadores mais antigos da região. Têm orgulho em ver a sua antiga embarcação de pesca ser utilizada para partilhar a beleza da região com pessoas de todo o mundo.
Hoje, quando o "Delfim 4" navega nas águas do Algarve, os turistas ficam espantados com a história do barco e com a forma como este se transformou numa atracção turística. Mas para os pescadores mais velhos, é ainda o mesmo barco de madeira resistente e fiável que tem ajudado a sustentar as suas famílias durante tantos anos.

Many years ago, the wooden boat called "Delfim 4" was a squid fishing vessel that navigated the crystalline waters of southern Portugal. With their fishing net, the fishermen would spend whole nights at sea, searching for the best spots to fish.
The "Delfim 4" was built with much effort and care by the fishermen of the region. Each piece of wood was handpicked, with care and precision. As time went by, the boat became well known among the fishermen and became one of the most successful squid fishing boats.
With the decline of the squid fishery, many of the fishing boats in the area were eventually abandoned or sold. The "Delfim 4" was sold to a tourist businessman who had a vision of turning it into a tourist boat to take visitors to the caves of the Algarve.
The entrepreneur invested a lot of money in restoring the boat, which was as good as new after painting and installing safety and comfort equipment for tourists. The "Delfim 4" now looks forward to the day of lovingly taking tourists to see the caves of the Algarve.
Locals say the boat is still known as "Delfim 4" by the oldest fishermen in the area. They are proud to see their old fishing vessel being used to share the beauty of the region with people from all over the world.
