+Big V Thank you! Yes, we totally missed the eel while snorkeling and realized it when editing the video!
The boxcrab was cool to see and the eagle ray too!! Do you find them often here? (At this beach)
+S. Schalkwijk this was our one and only time to this location. Unfortunately we have not been back to Curacao since this trip. Hopefully we can make it back someday!
How far out from the beach did you swim to see all this? So many cool fish!
+Olivia Cookfair Oh goodness I don’t really remember how far we swam out there. We usually swim pretty far out from shore though every snorkel area.
Is there a fee to use the shade huts and Beach lounge chairs?
+Bradford Leonard I believe there was a fee for the chairs. Not sure about the palapas. I don’t know how much the rent was for the chair. We did not rent chairs because as we just snorkeled and didn’t spend much time on shore.

I’ll be in curaçao in about a month. Any advice for snorkeling ?
+Daniel Clarke We found they healthiest reefs at Director’s Bay but there is a deep drop off there so it may intimidate someone who isn’t as advanced. The best reefs are supposed to be at West Caracas Bay but we didn’t get to snorkel there because of the boat traffic that week. As far as seeing fish, they are all over the place even in shallow areas all over the island. We still have more snorkeling videos from Curacao coming. Playa Kenepa (big and small), Director’s Bay, Tugboat, Playa Lagun, and Playa Santa Cruz...and we have a couple of dive videos as well coming!
