In complete agreement with the great list you offered. Its 2021 and you covered our favorites. Our Top 3 and this is our 4th time here. Directors Bay #1, Tug Boat #2 Porto Marie #3. Lagun is also nice--- outside the walls and to the right. Kula Hulandra house reef when it's calm. THANKS and Happy Snorkeling!
Loff Fonseca, Lisbon. I dived Cabo Verde islands, East coast of Mozambique and the Red Sea.Your natural conditions in Curacau are marvelous in a so clear water. Fishes are so beautiful and sponges.
I remember the Hans Hass German diver used to dive there.
In Cabo Verde we have creole - popular language - It is similar to your papamiento.

So weird. My husband and I were just discussing possibly doing Curaçao in October. Then I opened my email, saw the Tropical Snorkeling newsletter and a link to this video. We followed their Bonaire book in September and it was so valuable and we didn’t waste our time looking for good sites. We had heard Bonaire snorkeling wasn’t good. But thanks to their book, we found it to be wonderful. I think other people were just wasting their time in the wrong areas. ;)

Just discovered your videos and am loving the snorkeling content. My husband and I just started our snorkeling/ underwater photography obsession in the last year. We live in KC so pretty land locked, but plan to take one big trip a year. Our only child graduated last year so traveling is a priority. Went to Cozumel in April and are considering Bonaire or Belize next April! Enjoyed both videos of yours and am now watching others!

Wowww, congrats. Love you video. Lots of good information. I went to Curaçao last month and I did the most spots you did but I think I missed some others good places. Curaçao is awesome and maybe I'll return next year, but before that, take some tips from your video.

At Porto Marie, if you swim to the right past the rocks/cliffs, it was totally amazing. There’s another beach a bit further down. Found that Lagun was a nursery when we were there in April. We swam to the left of the cliffs and out of the bay. Junior squid all lined up protecting the babies 😃. We can wait to go back as we only had 5 days there. Great video!

Thank you ladies this was really helpful. I have been there in september 2018 and will visit curaçao again next month. I have seen much of the spots you covered, but missed a few so will visit the ones that look interesting enough to us.

Beautiful video. Thank you so much for sharing. We are heading to Curacao in January. One question for you: Is your underwater footage shot with a a stock GoPro, or are you using a filter. Our videos haven't provided such vibrant colors. Appreciate any advice you can share.
Fantastic video!! We ran into those miniscule jellies in St. Lucia. Freaked us out at first because we could not see them but they were stinging us in some intimate places.... LOL
Yeah, they weren't fun! I got a few in my top at a different beach later in our trip... no thanks haha

Great video! I watched the other one you made in Grand Cayman too. Super helpful info. I'm trying to decide between Grand Cayman and Curacao to visit next year in March and am torn. Which island did you feel offered the best snorkeling from the shore in terms of coral variety/health and fish?

What snorkel stuff did you use? I’m going to curacao but I don’t know what to buy! Can You buy it on the island as Well?
For our masks we went to a local dive shop and got fitted. If you're serious about snorkeling, that's best way to do it. If it's your first time, and you're not sure it's something you'll do continually, then find a highly rated snorkel set on Amazon to start with. That's what we did in the beginning!

Thanks! We used the GoPro Hero 7 for water shots on this trip. Sony a6300 for our sit down/chat parts. The Hero 7 is a fantastic camera, I was super impressed

I do! I know they went back there a year or two ago and updated the guide, so it's definitely still worth it :D

Have you guys ever been to St. John? Trying to find other places besides there to go and this video makes Cuarcao look very cool
It was high on our list before the hurricanes a couple years back... we've heard the reefs were damaged quite badly, so we have put the VI on a long list for the future. Curacao was amazing, and I highly recommend

Just google "tugboat Curacao" and you'll find how to get there. Not a beach per se

Did you use filters on your hero 7 black?
We did not! Weren't going deep enough to need them since we only snorkel and the water was quite clear.

Oh wow, that's tough to answer! If forced, I'd have to say Director's Bay. So many corals, and the drop off and depth made it unique

Not the hike, but jumping off the rocks into unknown water to go into a cavern we had only seen online. No idea what it looked like or what to expect!
