You should of reported this immediately to HR! HR is not on your side until you say she accused you. You would of won that lawsuit. This is a perfect example of a toxic work environment. I love you for having the courage to share this story.

I once went in a LV store, the only one in my country and never have I ever felt so followed, nor any employee trying to help. I was 18 and was going to purchase or at least at that time know how much the bag was and the answer was "you don't have money for it" I just felt so small, but my sassy shy self, asked again as a costumer I want to know how much it is, He said a price (that was not the right one cause I knew it was less than he was telling me). And I felt behind me the security guard, I looked back and said do not touch me. I want the complaint book. They didn't want to give it but its mandatory. Never got the reply but my mom entered that same store 1h after and complained to the manager. Up until now I haven't gone back. The team is for sure another one....but yeah very Judgemental in a lot of stores not only LV.

Poor Michelle, to be accused of stealing, I can’t imagine. Cece, im a former ca too. I got in and out pretty quickly. 9 months. One manager in particular befriended me over the past several months, after work cocktails and such. When I put my 2 week notice in, she treated me so shitty. Literally my last day of work was during the Mother’s Day event and we had a flower cart for appointment clients. One of my appointments canceled so I offered my 1st customer of the day flowers, first lv purchase and her birthday. That manager bitched me out so hard for giving flowers to a non appointment, I mean she really belittled me… it was my last day… who does that? They are 2 faced. How long did you work there?

First of all, you look stunning! What an awful manager! So sorry you went through that. I won’t be returning to the store any time soon. Their focus is on repeat clients who purchase often, not small fish like me. I learned that from another youtuber who purchases very often that the CAs prefer to work with clients who purchase often, makes sense but people like me feel out of place in store.

That wouldn't have helped except to truly get her fired, and she really needed this job or she would have quit right then. HR works for the company, Not the employee.
I am so happy that the young man was so sweet. However, this might be an unpopular opinion, but it's also telling that with his very first check he bought an expensive belt. I remember my dad walking me to put my very first check in the bank. Now that I'm older, I have a great nest egg and sometimes treat myself, but it doesn't have to be buying expensive items (although I do that sometimes also). But today, it seems to be all about spending and not saving.
They were crazy. Management certainly should have apologized. At least it opened your eyes. It's good to have the work experience and that situation made it super clear to move on with your life (when a new opportunity presented itself to do so).

Totally judge customers. Didn’t help me. A man from the back came to help and I purchased 2 bags! I wrote a complaint but no response. This happened in 3 different stores in U.S. and overseas.

Are the boutiques in large stores such as Neiman’s and Saks under the same rules and regulations as the stand alone stores ? I find them to be more friendly and easier to work with than the stand alone stores. These days I refuse to stand in line at the stand alone stores just for the privilege to spend thousands of $$$$ to purchase an item from LV. I’d rather go to my boutique CA with whom I have a fabulous relationship

Yes, it’s still all under Louis Vuitton. Same system, everything same. Only difference is you can use your Neiman’s credit card and earn bonus points to use in the department store, which is why it’s appealing to people!

It's a serious allegation and your boss would need to have her facts **absolutely correct** before accusing you of stealing - because, of course, it's a criminal matter and a sackable offence - not to mention it would follow you around when trying to secure further employment. She should have gone all out to try to repair your workplace relationship - probably too late by that point! - she should have apologised at the very least. Humans make mistakes, and assumptions can happen, sure, but that's a big one.
Wow…I never considered it from that angle. In the moment, I was too wrapped up in this toxic environment. It’s very manipulative and they keep you on edge, begging for your job.
