Great question. Class interval is the difference between the Upper class limit and the lower class limit while the class width is the difference between the lower and upper class boundaries. In the case of this example i accidentally used the class interval, because i completely forgot that I was using the inclusive type classes not the exclusive type. With the exclusive type classes, the width can be calculated by just subtracting the lower from the upper class limits since they are exclusive. I hope this answers your question clearly?
