Eco-Drive: not much to perfect. It’s a photovoltaic cell under a dial that allows ambient light to pass through, plus a capacitor to store excess power that this produces, so that the watch can keep running quite a while even if then kept in the dark. I doubt that they’ve improved it appreciably in twenty years. When I’m not wearing my three Eco-Drive watches, two radio-synched and one using GPS satellites, I leave them on a windowsill that gets little direct sun. I’ve had one of those watches for at least 12 years and it was my usual watch for almost a decade. It’s possible that someday the capacitor will need replacing. Eco-Drive is old but good. It’s the A060 movement’s accuracy that’s the exciting part.
Citizen has chosen the eagle as their symbol. Citizen collectors often joke, calling this symbol the “Citizen Chicken” because of the capital letter “C” on the symbol. 🤡
@@xchazz86Good attempt at trying to disparage a great company like Citizen. The Citizen eagle logo looks NOTHING like the Nazi eagle. NOT EVEN CLOSE. It is their unique eagle symbol, although a Google search will show that the Poland eagle symbol resembles the Citizen symbol more than any of the hundreds of other eagle symbols out there. But even that is a stretch.
Minute hand moves every second in this watch not every 10 seconds like on most quartz watches. 2:29 has already second hand at around 20 seconds past the minute so can not line up
Eco Drive and Spring Drive are the best Watch Movement technology you can buy 👌
It is exquisite! Really climbs up towards GS..
I went to your website but could not find a Kermit PPX😢
What are you saying?
I don't believe the white dial which is made from paper will not turn yellowish after years.
to be carefully checked before buying a quartz Grand Seiko

Why is there a German dragon or eagle sign at the bottom? That seems new to Citizen…
Japan has strong nazo ties to germany.
