- I returned to the country I swore I'd never return to, let's just say the last time I was here wasn't the best of times. We had a full 10 days of the heaviest monsoon you could ever imagine however a certain someone has persuaded me to return....welcome back to Vietnam!

The view looked amazing from the hotel.That was some strange noises from the bus haha. Cat is always so positive and happy which is great to see. I have a good friend who was locked up in a Chinese jail for 4 months. And his comments were it was not that bad. Not how you would imagine. Very clean, polite staff but no phone calls or visitors allowed and was not allowed to receive books etc. He now meets the warden occasionally on the outside for dinner together. He came out speaking pretty good Chinese....

@@KingoftheRoad-2023 I think potentially he was thinking Astra Star X 00031. I believe they had just broken out in a civil war 11 months back. Has to be what they meant by it. Additionally, I did hear of a coup taking place on X003-B in the Yung84 constellation, however I thought they had it underwraps. Could be wrong.
Nina was a great tour guide, if I was to ever adventure on that side of the world, I would definitely want Nina as my guide. She has a great personality, and is able to communicate clearly. ✔️+

Unfortunately there is no equipment that I know of to cancel that insane snoring level. However Sony WH-1000XM4 and earplugs under it might help to muddle it a little.

Lived in Hanoi in 2004 and spent new years in sapa. We were at that exact spot at the chinese border and my Irish mate was thiiiis close to paying locals to ferry him across the river is some tiny canoe. We were pretty drunk and that idea was good for about 2 mins. He almost did it too.

You're a long time traveler. Why not buy ear reduction noise ear plugs so the noise of snores will be a thing of the past. You can also use that during flights as well as if you book hostels.
