That so-called sleeper bus trip reminded me of a waltzers ride at a fun fair. Brutal.
if u could get an equivalent bus journey in uk how much would it cost?😮
£400
plus VAT @ 20%@@BackpackerBen
Bro visit Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 it’s more calmer and clean beautiful nature.way less hassle.❤
Cat didn't last long in India. It took North India 5 months to break me mentally and made me go to Defcon 1 😡😡🤬🤬!
Guess she had a different experience part as being a woman can be different comparing to men, sometimes ☹️
Ben, I'm not sure what you're winging about? That was a first class sleeper bus and far from brutal. I could show you a truly horrendous sleeper bus from Agra to Rishikesh (that's what the ticket said but you're dropped off in the middle of nowhere about 8 miles outside of the city).
Probs the honking all night long and slamming brakes all night long! I would be constantly car sick 😅
I don't know why you guys are so fascinated with the crowd and chaos. You could just book a guide and go to the touristy places
for sure not fascinated by it
@@BackpackerBen Then you can choose to avoid going to places like Old Hyderabad and Delhi and also book private cabs and choose flights instead of general compartment trains
He's a doom tourist. i.e travel authentic like a local and put your life and health on the line and I commend him for it.
To experience a country you need to travel independently. Live like a local and eat like a local. Not some fancy package tour where you see the same crowded tourist sites, harassed by venders, constrained by time and stuck with people in a tour group you don't like.
@@stevenhull5025 well then don't complain all the time then
Watching this made me appreciate the hell out of here in Albania in the off season. I don't think I can do India.
India is BRUTAL and I feel sorry for all of you but the content is great, as always! lmaoo Love from America!
Cheers bro!
Purposely choosing the worst bus and then complaining about it , only a little more money would have made his trip a lot easier. Not sure why white folks are like this lol
Ben, good to see you back here. Thought you were never planning to return. Would be interesting to see Mr. Bald join your tour😊.
Oh India!!! So frustrating
😂😂
Tell me about it
Looks ace mate enjoy we are gonna head that way hopefully soon hae amazing time in India 😊
U know what Ben. I absolutely love your programs. Even if it’s u on u own or with baldy guy. He is class too. U Ben make your programs so watch able. Be proud of yourself u will go far mate. U like me been to some mad places in Uk though. Keep it up 👍 Ben life is for going to crazy places. Be safe and happy.
With a newcomer to India ,you don't do trips like this! It says; you love it or hate it!
Happy Easter
Backpacker Ben did a bus hunt instead of an easter egg hunt
😤
That's luxury.
I cought a bus in the north of India in the late eighths wooden bench seat, no ac chickens, snake charmers, goats.
Crazy driving to Minali.
Did the snake-charmers have their "performing companions" with them on the bus?
@thembadube9589
I was sitting next to a man who had a basket on his lap.
He points to his basket I thought he wasn't too sell me something.
He takes the top off and there's a snake 🐍. Sleeping thankfully.
I juncture to put the top back on.
Thankfully he got off a couple of hours later.
That could have been a different bus trip but it did happen in India on the same trip. 1988.
I caught the night bus from Manali to Delhi in 1985 , it was basic , no windows never mind ac
I just don't understand the honking in India. To deal with that on a SLEEPER BUS just blows my mind. Why and how do they think doing that every 30 seconds is a good idea???
No idea solves nothing
Bruh its like norm. Honking is good for lots of people to move aside but carelessness and negligence
@@dhruvilkumpavat6037 It does literally nothing except cause unnecessary noise.
It is incorrect to state that honking has no effect. In fact, honking has reduced road accidents in India, saving many lives despite contributing to noise pollution.
You get used to it and won’t even hear it while sleeping after a month
1:40 - Orange travels is decent ...
The tip to travel on a bus is to sleep like a moron (I dont care even if explosions) 😂
15:40 - They're not individual bracelets they're a set of bangles
16:10 - Beeping identifies your position and speed to other scooterists and pedestrians
Will never forget the trip i took from Manali to Delhi (20 hours) in 1996. no toilet, no sleeper(of course) on the bus and driver wouldnt stop on the side of the road even with me trying to convince him to stop from behind the separation glass. I had to do the longer job. He did stop after 6-8 hours for the only regular stop. Imagine me trying to hold it.He was also driving like crazy i think i lost 3 kg in weight just by fear lol. Needless to say when i got off the bus in Delhi i got bitten by a dog and a passerby told me i had stepped on it and "likely" he wasnt rabid. And then woof the dog was gone.
Is that Birmingham 😂
It's a Muslim majority city so you can call it Birmingham 😂
Looks like West London to me
guys....eat fruits and dry food during bus ride, do not eat curry that is disaster waiting to happen, lol, and bring ear plug and or noise cancelling headphones
Please ban him.from.india
ban india from the rest of world
You should be banned from this world.
I noticed Ben’s taking on alot of baldandbankrupt’s speech patterns and mannerisms. All that time together is rubbing off on him.
Hahaha those horns and snoring 😂
The horns are designed to wake you up in the middle of your nightmare of India
Kat is amazing ❤
Lucky getting to share a cabin with her for 16 hrs
Sleep can wait!!!

First British people ruled India for 90 years and now they are showing bad things about India 👎
You’re welcome 🇬🇧❤️
Colonisers didn't build buildings or houses for us people in India they actually looted our houses. It's we Indians who built these buildings & houses for ourself. So stop calling them Portuguese or British buildings, They are not. They are Indian buildings. I saw you doing same in Pakistan. 😊
Course not, they did tents 😅
Yeah wonderful. There's always one who has to bring up pre 1947 history. Complain to the Royal family if you want it back. Ever seen the Monty Python scene "what did the Romans ever do for us...."
@@Lionking1190shows your ingnorance. Our Indian civilization is older than your Civilization😊.
@@paul7TM soooo true this!
@@Ashlesh.... ironically, your country fellows from north and south even cannot communicate without using English, what so called civilization was just a group of tribes, you should thanks British unified this continent
Buses weren't as luxurious 20 years ago when I went backpacking around India. The toilets even have walls now. India's modernising.
It happens when British loot 45 trillion from.India in today's dollars lol yes 45 trillion
The property rates are more expensive that London or New York
@@straighttalk7573 You buying property there? And in London and in New York?
@@LearTrough have lived in London Singapore New York dubai and now live in Delhi
@@straighttalk7573 I asked if you have bought property (as in real-estate like land, apartments, etc.) in all of those places, not if you lived there. And, with that, put into context your earnings or the average earnings of people in that region you are talking about with the location, type and quality of those properties or in an average sense.
India is as big as Europe and these vloggers seem to go to the worse parts. Viewers who dont travel and have norrow minds think what they see on these vlogs is the reality.
Ben, you know what I got out of all your videos after watching you for a while? Is what NOT to do when traveling 😂😂😂
My goal is complete
we ❤Kat mate
yes!
Yes, she is a nice lady, however it looks like he has completely forgotten about 'Neo' in Pattaya, Thailand.
Oh yu back in India 😂you do sacrifice lot for us Love youre videos❤❤ love see Kat to❤❤🎉
🤝😵💫
At the end of this video I've got one question....
You want tuk tuk?
I was in Mumbai for a week while you guys were there. It was a bucket list thing, my first time. I loved every second of all the chaos. Dharavi was incredible.
Keep up the great vids❤
Putting the subtitles on the Scottish accent 🤣
A must
Nee bother
Love your brutal bus rides. That's what you're best at. Did you notice the OTT 45 sign on the windscreen of the bus? That horn was was OTT for sure. Long bus rides can be tough. The worst one for me was a night bus from Madrid to Gibraltar when they couldn't turn off an alarm for about 90 mins. Beats the poverty porn stuff in the UK.
What's OTT?
@@UnimportantAcc OTT stands for - over the top
So Ben, my boy, when are you going to put a ring on it? hmmmmmmmm??
Hey Ben, what camera you use to make vlog?? Looks preety portable and handy...
Hi Guys. Thanks for the update.I am in Hyderbad in October so may be it will be cooler. but still crazy. However l am travelling by plane from Jodphur. Mind you l am busing it around Rajasthan. Any advise?Hope you are feeling better!!!You both inspire me to travel!!!Back to India in May to visit Darjeeling!!
Cat is the best Ben, Never leave her, you two are awsome together and india is completly nuts. ❤️ you both, seeya from the land down under, but eventually both of you should visit australia.
Cheers mate! Hopefully coming this year
New Zealand + Australia Backpacker Ben tour is a must
Will need a ton of money for it 😬
Grew up in Australia in the 70s. Back then it was cheap. It is so expensive now. Aussie relatives tell me that all the time. But then so is the UK.
OMG😂😂😂 I would've had a stroke
India towns and cities are just pathetic.
Exactly
Gotta give you and that beautiful companion of yours Katarina credit. I will never go there. Wait for $1000000 I'll go. Maybe.
jesus india looks bad
From Portugal Braga love you
Backpacker Ben? More like Fudgepacker Ben.
It's hard not to laugh at the horn
Agreed
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP
Beep beep beep beeeeeeep 😂😂
I'd watch Catriona do anything, she's lovely.
If i jump in a bus like this i would buy the best earplugs in town. And outside grab my headphones and put on my favorite songs from my playlist ignoring the banter from scammers and all the trafic chaos. Welcome to India. ❤🎧
You forgot the crash helmet to sleep with
I think Ben may have put quote marks around the wrong word in the title! "India's Most Brutal 'Sleeper' Bus" seems more appropriate after watching this video.
It serms u guys recorded honking and snooring all night. 😂
Have you seen Hitec City?Especially the stretch from Raidurg to the Financial District in Hyderabad. It is more modern and with far better infrastructure than Dubai. The place you went to is Old City. Not Hyderabad. Hitec City is at par with Chongqing City, China. You're using Hyderabad as an umbrella term for 4-5 cities. ruclips.net/video/kEBg0pIcsjM/видео.html
How crash friendly those busses might be when you end up in an accident in a lying position.
You're going flying into the valley good luck
Nothing will help you if you get trapped and the bus is on fire.
It’s over
Ben has a old friendship with buses and ball-ache
We certainly have a great history
kats pretty funny ,she’s a good travel companion with you😜
🚀
Great video as always, Kat is an amazing travel partner. I have been to India over 30 times, and you are of course being true to your "backpacker" name taking low cost alternatives wherever possible, but truth is there are numerous easier ways around India with amazing luxury as well. As you go to Delhi, I highly recommend taking Kat to The Imperial Hotel for a look see and perhaps their amazing breakfast buffet or even high tea. The Imperial allows you to step back into the time of the British Raj, and experience India in a time long gone. Truly amazing Time Machine.
Poor Kat 😂
Glad you have clean pants and Kat is with tou.
