So the back bump is often harder to work into but if you do it correctly it makes the bottom of your work match the top of your work. It makes the bottom of the stitch have the 'V' pattern that you see at the top of the stitch. It is a great technique to know but it is not necessary to complete this or probably any project.
Very decorative and quick. I’ve made three of your handtowels from last weeks vid. On my fourth. Two for the bath n two for kitchen. Then two for my DNL and I’ve got to make a coffee mats for her office too!! Maybe a couple for grandson’s desk too. Great ideas👏🏽👏🏽😃. Thank you.

Thanks. I love that one too, but it is sold out at my walmart. It is the Peaches N Creme Stripey. Not sure the name of the color but it is cream, super light greige, beige, and grey stripes.
Beautiful stitch! I'll be making some mug rugs for Christmas with this!
That is wonderful!
The back bump is a fav of several crocheters. Reason? Love this tutorial!

@@WindingRoadCrochet Thanks! I had not heard why “back bump” was preferred by some. Now it is clear and makes total sense to me.
