The problem with most people is that they come with the mentality of how things are done in their country even when you tell them the right thing to do they wont believe that little thing can cause them serious problem. So long as she was in a place where buisness is carried out, she can not deny working.
This is a huge problem, it is the mindset they have bought with them from their home country and what's worst is they don't want to change their way of thinking, in my opinion it is a time bomb waiting to implode their own lives, plz smarten up people and learn the way things are done which ever country you end up in.
So, she went with a Healthcare Visa to UK to work as a care worker. But No work was even given to her yet 😅. And allegedly was volunteering in friend shop😂. The immigration officers knew she was lying. 😅. That's why they timed her and went the 2nd time. She should have been honest in first place to avoid problems. And read the Fine print on visa application forms 😅😂. We must Respect and obey the Law of any country when entering.
She could be considered if she had completed her required hours at her primary sponsored job and paid her taxes to the government. However, she spent six months without any proof of work completed or salary received from her primary job, she violated the UKVI rules. Even her 20 hours should be in the same job before it was changed.
A very big lie. Its either she's not telling the truth or her village people at work. One thing the UK respects is volunteering and you can volunteer while working.
Since her employer hasn't been able to get her to work, she should have volunteered with a charity that will pay for her transportation and theough may even land a job. NHS has such volunteer opportunities for persons already in the UK. Rules are rules even though they may sound harsh or unfair.
Why did she challenge the judiciary ? She should not have, when one Judge was lenient with her. She should have thank her stars and keep quiet, never to do it again. You are in a foreign country, whatever they don't want, abstain from it
Please i want to understand something if you are on a health care visa and decide to take up an unpaid volunteer job in another sector like HR is it againt the visa rules as well? This volunteer job is jux to upskill u and for the knowledge
The visa conditions clearly state that you are not allowed to take on any other work voluntary or otherwise outside what is on the contract. People don't listen. The UK is not your father's house.😅
This is why we have problems in Africa rules and regulations. We don't follow rules in Africa, so we get confused when we travel to the rules and regulations countries. Pls open ur brains and be informed about the world 🌎.
This sound far fetched. There are so many holes here. Why has she not worked in the healthcare in 6 months. Well we know many people who come over on COS, then don’t get the hours, end up doing small jobs and get paid under the table. Home office is very much aware of this.
There are plenty jobs where foreign workers are needed. Be very honest from the start about the jobs you're applying for, and keep within the stipulated rules and conditions of your Visas..
Yes, that is correct, but remember, the law always pounces on the people it knows in its system. It is the same principle with my fellow Christians; they always preached the gospel to Christians as opposed to non-Christians.
Stop the Bull…..ish. When Belgium went the Congo and cut off all the young children hands who ran away or didn’t work was darkness in control of the African children? Why don’t you use reasoning based on the little facts given here instead of interjecting cultural nonsense into this situation? Yes, you are right. Work is Work. However, I believe she had a specific visa requirement that she must abide by due to what she asked for when she applied for her visa.
In my opinion she was working, however there was no evidence to prove it, it was based on circumstamces and assumptions of a highly likey racist immigration officer, however, higher up the case went, she should have been let off with a warning. Also, someone had it in for the shop keeper and ratted her out.
@@arogundadeomotayo5201 please don’t mislead people by your write up. You can only work in the shortage occupation code which is related to your role. Volunteering work is ONLY on healthcare and NOT outside of it, because that was the ROLE she was granted visa for.
I could have made that honest mistake since I wasn’t getting paid. But, then, there’s a possibility that I could be getting paid “under the table”. A good immigration lawyer (if she had one) could have secured her a slap on the wrist.

Some people want to come to The UK and make the laws of The UK...its not your country so follow and obey the laws..or leave it's very simple
Thank you ❤
@....Ditto!
@xAce99x agree
The people here are so ignorant and lazy that business owners are desperate for foreign workers.
UK is not the only country , where you can practice your profession, if she looks closer her country can provide a better haven

I believe her. I worked in visas for years.

She definitely was working not volunteering. She was being paid under the table and anyone with common sense can figure this out.
She was made a scapegoat and should have pleaded on compassionate grounds, and based on a genuine oversight on her part rather than fighting them

Now you can actually do a 20 hr job that is qualified for sponsorship

How did the government get to find out?
Listern to the story from the beginning ..she explained it
Maam you and i know that this lady was not volunteering as she try telling them. but rather wotking to get a quick buck
Is the condition not different now? I guess you can work in any sponsorable work for up to 20 hour

It's UNTRUE that you can't work in any other job while on a skilled worker job. You can always work in any other shortage occupation.
