Thank you for your video! I need to ship many eBay items today and you saved me! I live out in the country so "running to town" is a time hog. I thought I was going to have to buy new HP $$$ cartridges - thinking the off brand that I installed was causing the problem. I appreciate YOU!
I have an IELTS test and I had to print some papers to practice and this problem poped out of nowhere. I tried cleaning the head and power it off and it worked. thank you very much!!!
Thank you very much thank you so much your how to video worked wonders for me I’m ordering a new printed and installing it myself thank you again this is been money saved thank you thank you
Pull the print head assembly out and try cleaning the gold contacts with some isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab. Sometimes a bit of gunk on one or 2 of the contacts can cause that issue but still allow you to print.
I have an 8620 with the same error. 4 years in use. No result after going through all the tips shown + the comment about cleaning the gold contacts with isopropyl. The last thing I could try is to do a manual cleaning of the printhead, buying one of the kits available on amazon. However I find it odd that the printer has printed good quality up until the error suddenly showed up which leads to the inevitable conclusion: This is most likely a weakness in the hardware by HP as this youtuber has interestingly tested out (ruclips.net/video/HIgC0aDsxec/видео.html).
One of the best "how to" videos for printers I have seen. Thank you
This was excellent. I had already gone through all of the processes that you mention, so I'm off to buy a new printer. Thanks!
