Your knife sharpening is about as wrong as you can get. Your just folding the fine edge over. All chefs know; you don't draw the blade you push it.
And you never ruin the tempering of it by heating it.

Pleeeaaaseee NO ONE sharpen ur knife that way!! It creates a bur on ur blade rhe ONLY way u should EVER sharpen it is towards the cutting edge !
That is why they"corrected" it with the metal rod.

That was the correct way, you sharpen with the stone and finish with the steel.

The angle depends on the hardness of the blade and how long you want the edge to last. It really does not have to be 30 degrees.

Whoever made this didn't put much time or effort into it. Most of them were really dumb and some didn't make any sense. It's one of those scam vids made for the quick buck. I couldn't watch any more, waiting for the second hole in the key hack to show up. I went to the comments and one said it wasn't shown. Glad I quit! I'd like to know more about the microwave that takes metal, though. I thought that technology still hadn't arrived.
There are microwaves that can heat in metal - but never aluminium.
What second hole?? Also, that wasn't a microwave. It was a standard oven.

Toaster oven is standard (conventional) oven. Just smaller. I was saying it wasn't a microwave oven so metal is fine to be put in it.
