Coach Fassel was the first coach I remember and he always a class act. His guarantee and the 41-0 NFC Championship game are memories from my childhood I'll cherish forever. RIP coach! You will be missed!
RIP Coach Fassel. I was a kid in the top section of Giants Stadium for a lot of his games and he was a good coach. Even after Tom Coughlin took over, I still remembered the contributions Jim made with the Giants!
Grew up on the tail end of the Fassel era. It was heartbreak after heartbreak since Superbowl XXXV. But seeing the Giants be in the Superbowl that year solidified my love for Big Blue.
Fond memories of fun, exciting, winning football under Coach Fassel. While they fell just short of a SB, coach and his family have a lot to be proud of with respect to his entire body of coaching work. RIP Coach, and sympathy to his family and friends. A very underrated, overlooked coach and quality guy.
Fassel was a good coach. Not great, but good. He deserved another head coaching job. It was a one of the last good decisions by George Young was hiring Jim Fassel. Rest in Peace coach and thanks for the good memories.
Criminal never a hc in nfl again If he gets past Randall Cunningham in 97 playoffs and/ or SF 2002, I think his legacy is enhanced Still 4th best HC in Giants history Viewed his interaction with the press as necessary, unlike others Rip Coach Fassel
I hate to be off topic here, but he was such a youthful, healthy looking guy. I can't help but wonder if he took the needle and his death was whitewashed as a heart attack. I'm skeptical.
Can't tell if Fassel was a great coach that maximized the ouput of a team that had like 5 or 6 good players, or if he was a bad coach who blew a lot of big games.
Coach will always hold his place in Giants history..really
R.I.P Coach Fassel
Thank you coach
Thanks for the memories coach! 🙏🏼
What an amazing video. I love this Organization ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
I think a lot of Giants fans forget about Kerry Collins and Jim Fassel cuz of the SB loss but they were great

I always wanted Payton back, but he’s made his own legacy.
