Wow, what an undiscovered treasure your reviews are. Detailed, intelligent, personal and not a whiff of top ten compliment grabbers. New subscriber here - and I will binge on your videos over the next few days! Thank you 😊
Wonderful video, sorry to have missed it (was on a date!) I'm curious about Iris de Gris (an intentional reference to the fabled Iris Gris???) but I've had a hard time forgiving L'Artisan after they discontinued Safran Troublant...
Dear Persolaise, these intrigued me so much when I read about them and I'm so glad you've smelled them for us. They sound delightful and I will go out to try them soon. I love green, natural smells.....I would wear a salad if I could; Sisley's Eau de Campagne and Guerlain Herba Fresca are great favorites. I think I might find some of their qualities in this collection, with Quentin Bische's originality thrown in as a bonus. Thank you so much for sharing, very inspiring post!
It is time that vegetables had there due after so many fruits! Thanks for this video. I was disappointed that there was no discovery set of this collection at the L'Artisan web site and yikes, they are expensive. I watched this video before picking a SOTD and immediately went to Sisley's Eau de Compagne by JCE.
I was luckily able to try all five on a trip to London at Selfridges about two weeks ago and I am happy with my choice of the charming, cheeky trouble boy, who is getting away with what he's doing. So I am a happy owner of Cedrat Ceruse now. Too me it is very anis-y: green, herbal, yet also somewhat sweet. Thank you for your videos and cheers from Germany. :-)
Thank you for this review! I can relate with your enthusiasm. I was quite taken by this new collection as well. Very intriguing, interesting, fresh and optimistic indeed. My favorite was Iris de Gris followed by Cédrat Céruse. The one I liked the least was the Tonka. It was too sweet for me and not very daring. I'm happy that L'Artisan decided to go back to their roots! After the initial discovery, I have to smell them on skin now.
Thank you for this great review! I ordered this sample pack a week or so ago, but they run out of stock, so I'm still waiting, listening to your impressions and growing more and more curious 🙂
Thanks for another detailed, observant, scentsable video! (Sensible.) I would probably be the tomato leaf one! Have you ever smelled Dzing! by Artisan? That one is a little too fascinating, so I think I've only worn it once in a public space. I did like the oxymorons going on in it with the sort of fresh circus quality it has, the quiet, nostalgic, comforting scent of putting on a band aid while eating a caramel apple (with delightful elephants and horses nearby). That one might be the person who constantly stumbles and gets roasted behind his back bc of being misunderstood while trying to be kind to people and excitedly pursue his ambitions for the good of mankind, lol!
please know how much i appreciate your thoughtful and tasteful reviews - thank you
That’s so kind, Alan. Thank you.
Persolaise, I love the fragrance house L'Artisan Parfumeur. Your review of the Le Potager line was so well done. You are a true professional.
That’s too kind - thank you.

Ah, those discontinuations.
Thanks for watching.

Yes, a proper discovery set would have been great. And the price is quite surprising.

I love Dzing! A real favourite of mine.
Thanks for watching.
@@Persolaise Cool! It's a real treasure now since it's difficult to find except at soaring prices on ebay, etc.
Was so excited for this episode and pleased. Now, only to wait until they have a least 3 of the 5 on offer to sample in the US. 🙄
I hope you get to try them soon.
Thanks for watching.
I would love to see your Top 5 L' Artisan perfumes!
That’s a great idea - let’s see what I can do.
These sound quite interesting
Yes, I was pleasantly surprised by them.
