To be fair, I think the prices nowadays are ridiculous. In Australia, most 100ml niche stuff is around $500, which is very hard to warrant a full bottle of anything these days.
Guerlain's Joyeuse Tubéreuse is a "rejuvenating" scent for me. This fresh floral green perfume conveys the feeling of spring, youthfulness, joy and carefreeness. And I just smelled Penhaligon's Highgrove Bouquet for the first time today. I really enjoyed the fresh powdery smell of mimosa. Shalimar Vanilla Planifolia is also suited for Spring. Its wonderfully sparkling bergamote in the top notes just makes the day shine brighter. It reminds me of Shalimar Cologne which was a treat!
Have not yet tried Bulgari Eau Parfumee Au The Blanc...but was quite intrigued (mesmerized really) by the story of the elegant young man wearing the large scarf and Panama hat...that image alone compels me put this on my Must Try List. Thank you! And...Happy Spring!
Missed this one live as I was working and it’s so hard watching when the live chat is on as I’m dying to chip in but do feel like I’m joining in as I follow the chat as well as the broadcast . I checked for the limu shirin and sometimes just called Persian sweet lemon . Kumquat and Yuzu other citrus fruits I love but would really like to try a limu shirin if I ever got the chance . Hiris is a lovely spring scent I used to love and chamade for the hyacinth. Absolutely love the polo shirt on you too 😊x
So late to this broadcast, but I just smelled Bulgari au the blanc on a whim for then first time traveling recently, and I fell in love with it. It smelled very musky and woody on the blotter, more subdued than I usually go for, but I chose it to wear on my skin on the way home and wow. It warmed up beautifully and became very soft and almost gained an and milk and honey tone to me. That might be a scent association with tea for me though. I was so taken with the scent I thought I would have to get a bottle for the coming spring! It’s great to see this as a retroactive recommendation for the season and I feel even more certain in purchasing. Thank you Mr P!
Wonderful Video and wonderful list. I recently bought a 30 ml of "Cap Neroli" because I felt so much in love with it. Such an unique take on Neroli. I was sent a sample of "Eau de Yuzu" by Nicolai too and I am also in love with this. I am thinking of also bying this...! Thank you so much for introducing Parfums de Nicolai to us! 💛🧡❤
Going through a Robert Piguet moment…. fracas is a firm favourite, also Baghari and Bandit.. waiting for my RP Casbah to arrive. Thanks. Always enjoy your videos and positive energy
Hello Persolaise, thank you for this lovely list! Some absolute favorites of mine are in there: Orange Star, Cap Néroli, Eau de Bigarade (though I prefer the non concentré) and Eau de Guerlain! I wear Eau de Guerlain a lot and love it in summer especially. Eau de Fleurs de Cédrat is another favorite......I so admire how at Guerlain they manage to make the most bracing citruses smell plush and sophisticated. Just amazing, and with that lovely vintage feel...... Till the next!
Happy Nowruz, Persolaise 🌿🍃🌱 Thanks for the Spring video! My spring favorites for this year will be Lalique Plume Blanche, Dusita La Douceur De Siam and Lutens Douce Amere. But who knows what new and beautiful perfumes will come along.
Funnily enough I was looking at Iris de gris on Fragrantica yesterday! I love Iris Malikhan, so wanted to delve into other iris fragrances, as I am always drawn to smoky scents. May be why I love Iris Malikhan(due to the leather note 🤔)
Just discovered Nicolai and totally fell in love with Cap Neroli 😊. In fact, I liked this Neroli so much I even wish it had stronger projection (it sits quite close to a skin). But projection (and sillage) are tricky features, right? Sometimes to strong projection can ruin the whole experience of wearing even the nicest fragrance, but sometimes lack of this characteristic might leave you with a feeling of incompleteness 🙂.
Another beautiful scent in Tauers - Orange Star. In contrast to this; I also love Oman Luxury’s - Overdose during the spring. Such a fizzy grapefruit opening that develops throughout it’s life. Highly recommended if you haven’t tried it yet :)
Ah, I've also had a fresh new addition to the family in the summer of last year. He's responsible for me missing most of your lives recently, but I try not to hold that against him 😉 If I could add one scent to the list, it would be Carthusia's Essence of the Park by Luca Maffei. Smells of earth, grass, and trees warmed by a spring sun.
Hello Persolaise! Thank you for the video 🥰 This spring (or at least in the last few weeks) I'm wearing mainly: Chai by Robert Piguet; Sunshine Woman by Amouage; Lune Feline by Atelier des Ors, and Truth or Dare Naked by Madonna. p.s. I also really like Caron Pour Un Homme and Bigarade Concentree for spring. 💜🧡
@Persolaise Sweet Dreams 2003 by Thierry Wasser for A Lab on Fire always blew me away with its simplicity and comfort by way of petitgrain, orange blossom, and jasmine with a soft amber base - to me a softened and “cuddlier” Histoire D’Orangers by L’Artisan. Truly unfortunately underrated, and perfect for Spring…
Perhaps sweet lemons are similar tô the LIMA we have on Brasil. The smell is incredible I have a fantastic lima petitgrain essencial oil (from Laszlo essencial oils) Edit: actually not the same. Yours is citrus limetta, mine is citrus latifolia and citrus welinton aurantifolia
I love the Bulgari's. In another video, you mentioned that you wore Bvlgari Pour homme a lot, which one do you prefer between that one and eau parfumée au thé blanc, if you had to choose?
Great review! Now, we just need perfumers to make 30 ml bottles....100 mls are ridiculous.
i agree... i rarely buy 100ml... i try to experience different perfumes so most of the times i buy the 50ml ones
Thanks for watching.

Thanks for watching -- yes, I keep thinking I must weave that image into a story one day.
Me too!!! Great visual

Thanks, Angela. I feel I need to go on a mission to find those lemons in the UK.

PdN do some truly beautiful things. Thanks for watching.
Really enjoyed this list, and I’ve just dabbed on a sample of Lys Mediteranee to ring in the spring season. Thank you for your inspiring work.
Ah, LM is another beauty!
Thanks for watching.

Happy Persian new year and happy spring! 🌼
Thanks very much. Happy spring to everybody.

Dammit I missed you live! I wore Iris de Gris today too!

@Helen Cavanagh I love Malikhan too! Iris de Gris is very bright green and the iris here is rooty vs. powdery. I say it is worth trying a sample!
I all time favourite for Spring is Pleasure
Thanks for watching.

Yes, totally agree.

Persian Sweet Limes, Sweet Limetta, and Sathukudi, Musami, or Mousami in India
Thank you.
Love love love watching your videos Darius ❤
Thanks very much indeed.

Just a hello to say I very much enjoyed your list for spring and I too, hope you don't have a white Easter! oxJulia
Thanks very much indeed.
Excellent spring list Mr. p!
Thanks very much.

Thank you. I never got a chance to try that Madonna flanker.
@@Persolaise For me this is a very soothing fragrance, I love it❤️. (I'm already on my last bottle 😢)
So interesting. Can’t wait for you to try Nirmohee and see whether you find it rejuvenating as well. 💚
Thanks, Purvi.
love your shirt... very benetton
Thank you.
Amooo Declaration and the Bulgari tea line ❤
Thanks for watching.
Hi nice to meet you and listen to your videos
Thanks very much for watching.
It’s too cold here today for me to think of Spring, although it is officially Spring tomorrow. Hopefully, it will then feel somewhat like Spring.
Fingers crossed!
Early, Happy Nowruz to you and family, Dariush🌱
Thanks very much. Happy spring to you too.

I seem to remember liking it.
Thanks for watching.
limo shirin is simply "sweet lemon" or Citrus Limetta, Citrus Limonum in latin
Thank you 🙏
I loved Ostara. Unfortunately Penhaligon seems to discontinue their fragrances not long after they come out.
That’s certainly true in many cases.
Nice polo shirt 😊
Thanks very much indeed.
Very nice video. Thank you!
Thanks very much.
Love Caron masculines have you tried le3 homme? Another lavender but more spicy
Oh absolutely -- I love it.
Have you sampled molecule 01 iris 🌸💜🌸
Yes, I reviewed it on this channel.

This is all fascinating. Thanks for sharing the info.
limu shirin is very common in india where it's called musambi / mosambi / several variations thereof
Ah, I didn’t know that. Thank you.
What about aqua allegoria forte mandarin basilic?
It didn't make it onto this list.
Thanks for watching.
I also suggest you to try Porter sa peau by Roberto Greco...it is really a unique piece of art by Rodrigo Flores-Roux
Thanks for the tip.
@@Persolaise Are you going to come to Esxence?
@@saramagri6081 as he said in the video: organized at a very tricky time of the year, very much like last year, he will not attend the event.
I love the Bulgari's. In another video, you mentioned that you wore Bvlgari Pour homme a lot, which one do you prefer between that one and eau parfumée au thé blanc, if you had to choose?
If I had to choose, then Pour Homme.
Thanks for watching.
Now...if you could choose one of these, which would it be?I am poor😢😢😢
I'm not sure I'd be able to.
Thanks for watching.
Any thoughts on the parfum of Pour un Homme de Caron released last year? Verrrrry tempted to pick it up this year.
I don’t think I’ve tried it.
What is that little statue on the corner of your desk?
That was a gift: it's meant to be a Lego mini-figure of me.
Norooz Mubarak, Persolaise!!
Thank you!
I still have a half left on my bottle of Orange Star.
Treasure it.
💐
😊
R.I.p. Olivier Pescheux 🙏🏻
Absolutely. A very sad loss.
Fragrance in Japan?, I thought they slice foreigners who use perfume into pieces
Ha! Fortunately, no.
