OCKA Pt 3 - Wet and WIld in the Victorian High Country - Roothy

The Victorian High Country can serve up some pretty foul weather on occasions and that makes tracks that you would normally take on without too much difficulty into a wet and wild adventure.
The Old Cruisers Kick Arse (OCKA) crew were raring to get stuck into the good stuff and it wasn't long before the loud pedal was in full use! The crew we were with had a real range of 40 Series in it, form the LS1 Coil Sprung Troops through to near stock shorty's. Milo 2 did the business as usual, but I have to admit that we were taking it easy as we still had 2 weeks of touring ahead of us and over 2,000 Kms to get back home.
The High Country is a spectacular place to 4WD as the tracks take you through some of the most amazing scenery, so make sure you take the time to really soak it all in.

Great stuff ..your truck looks so top heavy Roothy I cringe all the time.
Great vid, 1 request though would be to turn down or remove a lot of the hard core music. Lots of comments about LS1 etc but did not hear a single roar of a V8 because of the music blaring. Guessing there would be other nicely tuned engines so would be great to hear these when under load rather than the rock music.
Agreed! Leave the head banging garbage to the cities. Keep the sound effects natural to suit 4WD in the Victorian High Country!

I saw plenty of ute’s & 4wd wagons but no trucks! Sorry to bust your bubble, but since when did we Americanise Australian terminology? Didn’t Australians invent the term “Ute”? It’s a UTE, not a truck!

Dave D mate its shits me to no end seeing Aussies self Americanise themselves to no end. You won’t see any yanks doing the same. I have no issue with Roothy, but it shits me how we are seemingly giving up our culture, history & way of thinking to a lesser one. & for what? Why? @Dave DAn SUV is a truck. They are built on truck chassis, and have truckengines and transmissions. If the vehicle isn't built on a truck chassis it isn't an SUV. If it looks like an SUV but has a unibody or is built on a car chassis it's a crossover.
What about Tank Murdock from Any wich way but loose. He wasn't a tank but that was his nick name.
