I keep hearing of the water shortages, draught, and power blackouts in California yet, I see mansions of 30,500 to 57,000 square feet being built to this day. The maintenance, energy, water usage, and space would be very expensive if not selfish to absorb the immense energy and water to operate this mansion and supply water to the pools, spas, irrigation, and multiple-shower-heads in each bathroom, and the energy for appliances and lighting required. Extravagance at it's best ! ! !

This is awesome and I am sure it is an awesome real estate investment. Especially for a person who has to live in LA. Myself, I'd spend about 5 million on a jet and a couple of pilots so I could fly back and forth to my 55 million ranch in Montana and never have to sleep in that damned city. ( I'm sure Marky Mark has one of those also), I've been having this guy out compete my ass since high school, he is pretty incredible considering he came out of a very working class situation in South Boston and now owns stuff like this. Id turn that real estate into a true EHollywood story about hookers and drugs !!!

Beautiful home but Walberg and his family are known for moving every few years and that I am not into. If I spend the time to create such a masterpiece of a home for my family, I intend for my grandchildren to be around to enjoy it with their kids. Not build it and live in it for 3 years and then sell it. It can';t be about money so what is the real reason why they do it? Weird to me...
i don't know about america, but where i live, you don't pay capital gains tax when you sell your primary residence for more than you bought it. It very well could just be a source of tax free income for Mark or maybe he's downsizing now.

The lot is placed towards the North in a canyon so that during the morning half of the lot is in shadow and during the after the other side is shadowing and between sunrise and 10 the hill cast a huge shadow that feels night 2:47.
Amenetieis, and architect taste are disgusting... there more concrete there than in the Empire State Building... I am not sure what the fuck they had in mind...
