I recently discovered Orville a few weeks ago and have been hooked ever since. But I just gotta say I heard one line in this song as 'oh, I got a narrow soul' and even now, knowing the actual line, it's all I can hear!
Been a fan of Orville since I was lucky enough to hear "Dead of Night" on a French radio station (of all things!) 3 years ago. Was eagerly awaiting the second album and it really delivered and then some! Made the small trip up from LA (home) to Santa Barbara to see him last week and was so impressed when I got home I immediately bought a ticket for the upcoming show in Oakland in June, to ensure I see him again on this tour. I don't mind the 6 hour each way drive - this guy (and his band) is/are the real deal and absolutely worth it!
I heard him on Pandora, and it was Rodeo Queen. And I was hooked.. As a straight man, I'll support this man till he calls it quits!! He deserves all the success he makes! Elvis, Cash, and a mix of Merle... Don't get better than this
@@meanrog20 His first album is dark and gloomy, whereas the follow up was more upbeat and broad, but not “pop” in the traditional sense. Meanwhile, most country stations today play garbage (southern accents singing over trap beats about their car 🙄)
I can't believe I couldn't make it to see two GREATS in real COUNTRY MUSIC.. ORVILLE AND CROCKETT!! Dammit ... For those who saw this live, I'm jealous
