She's right, just continue the show with a different title.
It reached the natural conclusion. Plus most of them have to be in the new show since Georgie is gonna have to balance his new family and his family after George dies
Not really, sheldon character arc is done, hell they basicly pushed it to far because sheldon we see currently is 100 times more socially capable then adult sheldon at the start of bigbang (its also why youngsheldon is better, there is actual character development).
Its smart that they “rebrand”. Sheldon isnt the most intresting part of his family.

They had to end Young Sheldon. Sheldon and Missy's actors were growing and well they aren't suitable for their characters anymore considering their ages.
OHHHHHH the title is telling us somethin; could be that at least two of the marriages Georgie's had was with mandy
my exact post above.....I wonder if there to a way to fix Georgie's timeline with all his marriages. Kind of like how they fixed Georges cheating on Mary. maybe the first marriage to Mandy is invalid due to a paperwork error and have to do it again. Then maybe they have a formal wedding in a church... boom, there is 3 weddings. Sheldon's young and he's away at school so he doesn't have the greatest memory of what's going on.... just a thought
I'm fine with them getting a divorce. I feel like it makes the show more realistic. People change, life happens. They end it on good terms (evident by Mandy calling to congratulate Sheldon) .
My guess is either Mandy will change once they become rich, Georgie will work too much, Georgie will leave for someone younger, Mandy will leave for someone older (maybe her ex), or Mandy will leave for her career.
@@colindonahue4205 I think it means this is both their first experience at marriage, and they will both later marry other people. Sheldon did get congratulated for his Nobel by two different ex-sisters-in-law.
@@colindonahue4205yea but the series finale of big bang when he won the Nobel prize Sheldon stated Georgie’s ex wives texted him which I took it as a different person. young seldom was already airing and they knew fans where calling back to statements made on big bang. So I think he deff got married to someone else but may and hopefully they got remarried to each
Mandy could end up getting killed. Then he gets married twice after that and they just don’t work the way it did with Mandy because of him grieving. 🤔

Funny seeing a spinoff of a spinoff. It reminds me of 80s sitcoms where they would often do stuff like this and make a show focused on characters originally from a diffrent show. Sometimes the spinoff would also surpass the original in popularity, such as with Family Matters (spinoff of Perfect Strangers) or The Jeffersons (spinoff of All in the Family)
Can't wait for this. Georgie and Mandy are great as a couple. Their dynamic can lead to funny moments during Young Sheldon.
However if we follow the TBBT canon Georgie and Mandy and destined to divorce.

Interesting title. Georgie and Mandy's FIRST Marriage. We know Georgie is married a couple of times (can't remember if it's 2 or 3). It could mean the first marriage for each of them individually, or it could mean they drift apart but find their way back together. Guess we'll find out.
Fun fact: by the time the show premieres Georgie will be the only (confirmed for now) character who will have appeared in all 3 shows of the Big Bang Theory universe

The fact that Audrey expects Mandy, Georgie, and Jim to agree with her on whatever choice she decides to make makes me understand why my first relationship failed. Audrey is overbearing and Jim is afraid of divorcing his wife because he can't build up the courage to tell Audrey that not everyone is going to agree with her on what she has to say.

I wasn't really interested in this show until I saw some of the dynamics between Mandy's parents and Georgie in the most recent episodes of Young Sheldon!
I'm interested in seeing what other new characters they add to the show to get that "true" feel for it.

Georgie: At least 2 from The Big Bang Theory (now I guess 3 since this title seems to imply that he eventually marries Mandy a second time).

What if the spin-off of GEORGIE & MANDY'S FIRST MARRIAGE many years later happens to be The Big Bang Theory reboot but not exactly reboot, it is the same characters, played by different actors in an alternate universe.
Then the next series would be Georgie’s second marriage

Yep - they announced it in March. I think they would have continued Young Sheldon but because George Sr. dies and Sheldon goes off to Cal Tech at the age of 14, they pretty much had to go in a different direction. Since Young Sheldon is Sheldon's backstory, they've pretty much covered it.
In case Paige doesn't get anymore appearances in the final season of Young Sheldon. Possibility of her showing up in this show? I can actually imagine Mandy becoming a Mother/Older Sister figure to her

Its already known from TBBT that Georgie had multiple marriages, which implies that he and mandy divorced at some point. We dont know how long the marriage lasted though or if the show will feature it

I wonder how long this hype, and it is indeed, legit hype, make no mistake, will last. At this point, it feels like CBS has been riding The Big Bang Theory so hard, Neil DeGrasse Tyson is starting to question its validity.

So, what are they gonna do now? Make them get separated and then remarry to fit the storyline established in TBBT, while redeeming the characters and show that they didn't cheat?
I have been watching TV since 1964. My gut feeling is that this spin-off will last only 2 seasons . I hope I am wrong, but many successful sitcoms have had spin-off shows that did not do well. If the whole cast was on the spin-off, then I think it would do well. Good luck.
Not a single cast of the Big Bang Theory was in Young Sheldon, and it lasted more than 2seasons 🤷🏻♀️
This makes me think that Georgia's first marriage with mandy didn't work out because we know he did it a few times but eventually they got back together which I hope we see in the modern day part of the finale

Probably both, like they are married, get divorced or it doesn’t count somehow, then end up back together in the end

I think that's what they're going for. Georgie has had multiple divorces by the time of TBBT but fans really love their dynamic in YS, so they're probably going to retcon it so at least two of those marriages were to Mandy
