Hey if you made the glow dust more wavy(some of it is lower then the ring) then filled the indents with a clear glue or something else i think it would give it a wavy look in the end, which would look really cool.
Very interesting, and gorgeous. If you look at jeweller supply shops you cold probably find a felt or fabric polishing mandrel for the inside of rings that can fit on the machine you use for polishing the outside of the ring.
Love this video, actually going to start making my own rings at my school, using these videos has been a huge help to starting our own little project in college.
This is like those discovery channel's shows where some dude asks the other dude to make the thing and the dude makes the thing and the dude returns it to the dude and it's freaking awesome
Before I watch heck yeah!!! Can't wait!!! Thank you for uploading it so soon xx thought it might take longer to edit spud xxx Edit This was fun as a 2part and the end result...just amazing!!!! I love the fact, and still can't and don't think I ever will get over it, that you can make the simplest and others would say 'dull and ugly' of materials from the World and turn them into something even more wonderful than it was before xx and here I always thought you just use those amethyst stones as a full stone not in this way xx thanks again spuds xx
Hi Patrick, thanx for the video & the techniques that you have demonstrated but can you also demonstrate how you label your rings? Do you laser it or stamp it? I would appreciate if you can show that as well, thank you!
Hay Patrick, Did you know that paper towels are like 3500 grid sandpaper. You will get a flatter smoother higher polished finish for that (Hell yeahhhhhhhh)! we are all looking for in a ring we are making. PEACE BROTHER
Been here for awhile and was wondering, as always, what the price of such rings and materials would be. I know I could check on your site, but would it be feasible to talk about how you do pricing with clients? does size change pricing? how drastically material and design would change. IDK just curious about the business side of the always awesome rings you make.
I really like your creations, even ordered a custom ring a month ago. But I was really wondering why you use CA or superglue. Of course it´s easy to work with, but its properties are not optimal for a ring to be worn every day. That´s because it isn´t resilient against moist, temperature and some chemicals. Furthermore, by using glue accelerator, you sacrifice it´s full strengh when hardened. A better choice imho would be the use of special epoxy glue, since it´s properties are more appealing to this usecase. This is just an opinion based on my own thoughts and some quck research. Keep it up, you are awesome!
Interesting that you are using the white polish on a soft buffing wheel and the green polish on a medium buffing wheel, isn't that opposite of what is recommended? Do you do that on purpose for any specific reason?
The wheel with the green polish is made of a much higher grade material so even though it’s harder, it still gives me better results than a cheaper soft wheel.
Quite frankly, I do enjoy the content that you release. Your videos have a fair length, and are released on a steady stream, considering that you are making rings, and as a viewer, I do appreciate your content, and so do my fellow viewers. We thank you with all do respect.
Probably a ridiculous question, but would it have been possible to have the copper band going through the center of all the fancy inlay stuff rather than off set to one side? If yes, how would that be done? Also, what happened to the vlog channel?
Personally I think that ring was not one of your best ones. You made it well no doubt about it but there was definitely way too much stuff going on. Seems like the buyer just wanted "everything".
Urrrrggg I'm 3 mins late..... 😭😭😭 I like this type of vids yes its longer but I like seeing you work.... But I'm too poor for paytreon..... So please just do them here
@patrickadairdesigns Can you make a lot cheaper ring for those that don't want to buy a $1000 ring! Btw the pricing is overkill/unnecessary! Love the ring though!
You should do a wooden and gold green glow ring for st patricks day with like irish crosses over the glow
Hey if you made the glow dust more wavy(some of it is lower then the ring) then filled the indents with a clear glue or something else i think it would give it a wavy look in the end, which would look really cool.
I enjoyed watching how you went through making the ring. I was excited to see how the ring would turn out in part two, and the wait was worth it.
Very interesting, and gorgeous. If you look at jeweller supply shops you cold probably find a felt or fabric polishing mandrel for the inside of rings that can fit on the machine you use for polishing the outside of the ring.
Really cool to see the whole thing, start to finish! I'd love to see a few of these a year or something.
Thats for the in depth on both videos was great seeing all you do, you are so talented.

It looks amazing! I also love the technical type of videos.
I really like the gems sticking out instead of the way you have it

Question: What kind of glue do you use to make your glowstone rings? I‘ve seen that you use some kind of Loctite but I couldn‘t figure out which one…
You mention constantly replacing the sanding drums. Do you know that dremel make a "Quick Change" arbor for sanding drums?
I really like your creations, even ordered a custom ring a month ago.

If I wanted to buy some of these rings you make how much do they normally go for
Can you make a ring that is copper instead of carbon fiber but with the same color glowstone(s)?
I'm new to this stuff but can you give me some links to all the adhesives you use plz?
Interesting that you are using the white polish on a soft buffing wheel and the green polish on a medium buffing wheel, isn't that opposite of what is recommended? Do you do that on purpose for any specific reason?

im so curious. how many rings have you accidentally broken before?

What kind of ca adhesive do you use? And what consistency is it? (Thin, medium, thick)

Make the black panther ring!
What's the song playing?
......I love the red. .
BRO THIS RING YOU MADE IS SO BAD ASS I WOULD LOVE TO GET AHOLD OF ONE!!
You should make a ring completely out of purple amythist
Probably a ridiculous question, but would it have been possible to have the copper band going through the center of all the fancy inlay stuff rather than off set to one side? If yes, how would that be done? Also, what happened to the vlog channel?
You could possibly sandwich the copper between the two halves of carbon fiber. Just make sure you rough up the copper so the glue bonds well.
Cool
Entertaining =)
Make a Batman themed ring.
cool
Niiiiiiice
Or at least a good price
Nicolas Gonzalez-toro carbon fiber is like 700 yikes
