HOW I DEAL WITH HAIR LOSS

  • Hi guys ! Finally a video to talk about my hair loss since baby. While pregnant and post birth I've lost an amount of hair that was kind of scary! So I wanted to show you how I treat my hair to recover as fast as possible and how I give a super full and healthy look to my hair in the meantime.
Briogeo has very good products with clean and effective ingredients that really nourish my hair and promote hair growth. But what I love is that at the same time it will help me create an optical illusion that I have full and shiny hair ! So while I am treating my hair, I also feel so much better on how it looks. Hope you enjoy!

After a baby it's so important to get your thyroid tested. It's a simple blood test. Thyroid stuff is chronically underdiagnosed and it is so easy to check it and treat. Hair loss (and a coated tongue, btw) are thyroid dysfunction symptoms.

Nothing prepared me for how much hair fell out postpartum. I have very thin and fine hair so there wasn't much I could do other than to just leave it be and wear hats and wigs until it started to grow back. On the plus side, the health of my hair improved a lot from not putting so much product on it or applying so much heat styling to it. But it took a good 8+ months before I could start to show my natural hair without feeling self conscious.

FYI - try not to brush your hair wet, it will break more as the hair is weak when wet. Also try using a hair oil once or twice a week, massaging the scalp to simulate blood flow. I can also recommend that having a Healthy diet and extra supplements which contain biotin will really make your hair grow fast.

    • @luckyDancer100

Maybe you should try washing in with your face downwards like when you blow dry it as in that case you're not pulling your hair back.

I’ve been struggling with so much hair loss the past several months. This video was so helpful but most importantly, comforting. I’ve been so scared that I am going to lose all of my hair because just handfuls come out in the shower. I’ve felt very lost because I have very fine hair so it tangles easily (like yours) and brushing it out after a shower rips more and more strands out. This made me feel less alone and less scared. Thank you ❤️

Drinking/rinsing right after brushing your teeth is like putting serums/moisturisers on and then washing your face... if you want healthy hair, dont put shampoo all over. Shampoo is there to clean your scalp. The conditioner is for your hair. When you rinse hair, the shampoo will go through the lengths. Thats all you need

Most commonly, biotin use can result in falsely high levels of T4 and T3 and falsely low levels of TSH, leading to either a wrong diagnosis of hyperthyroidism or that the thyroid hormone dose is too high. The ATA has recommended that patients stop taking biotin for at least 2 days before thyroid testing to avoid the risk of having a misleading test"

    1. It's very great to massage your hair with warm oil for 10-15 min before (this brush Brigeo will be great for it)
    2. Never Ever brush your hair wet and especially when your head is down. Just gently wipe, spread with your fingers on a side you wear them, and leave to air dry.
    3. Always put heat protection before styling your hair. It also can be 2,3,5.. in 1 treatment. I'm sure you familiar with Leonor Greyl line since its best French natural hair care treatments.
