- Hi guys ! Finally showing you a little sneak peek of my skincare routine. This is more of what I do for my skin once a week, as a little facial and "Cherie-me" moment. I use this time for me, and to just give my skin a little pick me up. I believe that a good morning and especially night routine is what really matters, but we will talk about that later!
Also... side note. it’s important to note that we all have different skin types and we should focus on what skin type we are. What might be good for me, might not work well on you. I have dry skin so this is what works for me and my skin type.
I do urge you all to visit a professional like a dermatologist to really understand what your skin type is and what it might need. I hope you like this video and have yourself a cherie-me moment !

You're 37? Wow. You've been such an inspiration in the last couple of years. I follow your make up tutorials and your general style philosophy as well. You're so authentic and I love your content! Thank you so much.
I absolutely love how you said that you are not anti-wrinkle and that you kind of like some wrinkles! You are the only person on RUclips that I've ever heard say that. Most people carry on as if ageing and wrinkles are up there with a cancer diagnosis of things to be terrified about. Skin can still look great by just being healthy and plump. Men are still considered attractive with grey hair and wrinkles and that should apply to women as well, much more than it does. Love your channel... ❤️

I've discovered that this is a very French attitude, to not care about wrinkles.

I am so glad to have someone with my same crocodile skin to follow! Like you, I didn’t worry about “anti-aging” (we all age) but was very lucky enough to have a mother who even at 84 still takes good care of her skin teach me how to care for mine. I am 56 and am just starting to see a bit of aging and sagging. I am going to try the leave in mask, I have been looking for a good one! Thanks for your channel, I love your approach to beauty!

Loved this skincare video. I have similar issues: more dry skin. Always looking for hydration and clean products. One thing I do for dry winter: before bed I soak a wash cloth in warm water and hang it close to where I sleep. All night moisture. That's in addition to room humidifier. Like Lisa E. Too. 👏👏❤❤

I believe in a double cleanse at night! And a beautiful oil to cleanse would be such a lovely luxury, but I use good old Vasaline if I really need too. Great tips.

Love that concept that it's just as much about self love time 🌼 I have skin pigmentation irregularities that started after I had my son ... but he's 8 now! I will take that advice and go see a dermatologist when things open back up 🌼🌸🌼
Totally agree about the forced air heating in the US! I spent three weeks in Vermont and New York one winter and I got really dry skin, as well as nose bleeds and I almost lost my voice. I didn’t realise at first that it was caused by the form of heating... but one night I woke up gasping for fresh air... and I opened a window and gulped in the outside air and felt so much better.
As soon as I got home again to Scotland my skin started to recover, my nosebleeds stopped and I got my voice back. I don’t know how people cope with that form of heating all the time
I live in NY, and know that dry gasping feeling all to well. I keep the windows cracked open and use a humidifier.

hey love, instead of using a pad I put a little bit of salicilc acid on my hands and press it into my skin like a serum, and it works wonders!

I have been oil cleansing a.k.a double cleansing since years. I'm 23 now and suffered from acne, oily, uneven skin tone issues since my teens. My mom suggested me to do oil cleansing using a warm to hot wet cloth on the face so it helps in deeply cleansing the clogged pores. I have been doing it when I was 18 and continue the same till date. I do it thrice a week because I don't use make up every day. Trust me when I say this, it's a game changer.
Double cleansing and not washing in the am is key👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I’m Greek and I use greek and french pharmacy .. we basically do the same things .. I make natural face masks with actual Greek yogurt leaves the skin so soft

You have to massage your face upwards. Those soft hair on your face are looking downwards so you have to massage the opposite direction so that you can cleanse all the dirt. (Also circling to the inside, not outside) & Wahing your face downwards could make your skin go literally.. down. Do it upwards

Violette if you have sensitive and dry skin you shouldn't use salycylic acid ! it's for oily skin. You should use a very gentle % of lactic acid ..

Ah, interesting, Purito.....I use their fragrance free Centella SPF50. Love it. Will try their cleanser for sure now. And I also use Paula's Choice salicylic lotion. Gold standard for hormonal congestion :)

I was told by the eye doctor not to rub my eyes so hard also some oils or makeup eye removers can cause chalzions - bumps that grew inside your eyes. They sometimes go away but they can last a long time and might need surgery or medicine.

I would love to know the list of who Violette follows! I find Violette's videos very relaxing to watch.
I would add a sonic scrubber which is like a spatula, it shakes the pores and the debris is pushed out and leaves the pore clean. I got mine from Amazon. I don't like grainy scrubs and I find I can only use Paula's Choice 2% BHA liquid once a week. I love Indeed Lab powdered exfoliator which is more gentle but it really works to smooth post the sonic device.
I love the Light Salon LED mask and I also have the LED Bib which are both very relaxing in the evening x
