Great videos man. I never played Shaman before and I switched to Resto this season after not playing since Legion. You helped me go from the worst healer in the raid to parsing 80 consistently in raids and M+. I watched all of your shaman guides many times over. Can’t thank you enough. 😄
Trying out farseer after totemic and it’s really hard for me to switch. Can you make a more elaborate guide on how to play farseer properly in different scenarios?
Awesome vid. Been playing rsham for 12 years and found this to be great! I've usually always played HST so cloudburst might take a second to get used to though. Would HST still be viable or do you find Cloudburst overall a better fit for the farseer build?
@@RussssseLLLLL correct! And I think running that over echo is a good choice as well. But you can't control who that extra riptide goes on and if you aren't tracking it then you also can't control when it's going out. So personally I prefer echo over ptc
@@ShamrockedGuides Even with the limitations, wouldn't PTC (with Coalescing waters) + Reactive Warding be better than 2 points in AA? Especially if you're running flow since PTC basically ensures you have RT up on most of the group most of the time.
@@rfjohnson69 nah AA is like 7-9% of my healing overall in most keys due to how often you cast healing surge as Farseer. But you can definitely play around with those points if you want to
@@ShamrockedGuides So far my experience since reset is mainly raid playing totemic with HST. Having the HST chain heals give you a stack and manually casting a CH is allowing me to cast every riptide with 2 stacks which is really nice as a bit of a spot heal in raid. You can potentially get away with this playstyle in M+ as totemic (depending on key level and mana efficiency) to cast every riptide with at least 1 stack if not 2. But like you said in the video we will get more info about the value of it after we see what people are doing at high key levels. Great video!
There is no way sadly for my sham to get there, it is for some reason phased i can’t even use the dalaran HS on him while other chars can use the tp and can see the shaman portal.
@@crimsonking7805 no actually, healing rain is mostly used for dps via acid rain for farseer. It doesn't do much healing. I usually just cast it before a damage event or after a damage event due to muscle memory, but I dont think about it too much.
@@ShamrockedGuides thanks for the response! I wonder if chain lightning would be a more worthwhile DPS global than Healing/Acid Rain with the ancestor damage buffs coming Tuesday. After playing totemic, regular healing rain feels so bad to cast for me.
As farseer, yes but not always on cooldown. Generally for healing rain I cast it when nothing else is happening, so right before a damage event or right after. It doesn't do a whole lot of healing so I actually use it more for aoe dps.

Gonna try out Farseer later, ty for the infos
Would love to see it!
Bring it on !
Big agree

I prefer totemic though.
Thanks for another good vid rocky, doing well representing our class out here on these streets 🎉
Absolutely love this build now. Good prior dmg. Feel like I hardly hard cast healing rain since the acid nerf
Finally I can enjoy farseer! Good to know it is capable of healing 14+

@@curiavoca will add it to the list of vids. Should be able to make a good one with a bit more footage this weekend and next week

That is amazing that youtube recommended this to me and that you made me immediately want to login and try this out :)

Thank you! This really sorted out my thoughts! Thank you!
Can i run HST with the farseer build ? i hate Cloudburst..
hi, thanks for the video, can you do a video with talents for raid as farseer? i try it but the diference on healing are a lot. thanks
Coalescing Waters interacts with Primal Tide Core making that 4th riptide plus the PTC procd riptide both buffed.

are talent build strings working for "you"? Try them?
Mate well done this was great
i found if cheal consume the riptide buff to get 30% buff, this chainheal hit will not buffed by floodwaters if not in healing rain
Does the paladin stream???
I love farseer, but I refuse to use unleash elements and cloudburst totem :(
how do you got the funky hair glyph on ascendance? I really coulnt get my hands on it.
Go to the legion order hall

nice, i thought farseer had to take pwave which i don't enjoy, gonna check this out
It’s actually pretty hilarious how Farseer stands to benefit more from tidebringer and the new talent lol
I played with DRE up to 11 and restorastive mists is actually decent uptime/healing
@@paoweeo yea it's not bad. I don't like the randomness of it but I am having fun playing around with it for now
How bad would it be if I wanted to play Farseer in M+ but never cast Healing Rain? Is that viable at all, or would I be trolling?
