Just thought I'd drop my two cents for 16:46 This talent has REALLY good synergy with Reactive Warding. Reactive Warding heals more the more charges of Earthshield you refresh, so if you refresh earthshield on the tank with 1 charge left, it will heal for x12 charges, which is a massive 2million plus insta heal.

would it be wrong the use unleash life and ancestral swiftness at the same time and have two ancestors at the same time?

Alright, it's great to see another Farseer enjoyer! I have some macro tips that will help you guys out, specially for the HR casting haters xD With this macro, I've basically combined my Riptide button with UL cast on myself (when I press Q on mouseover it applies Riptide to a bud and when I press SHIFT + Q it applies UL on myself) This macro used to cast UL on bud on mouseover with shift, but the healing per se from UL is ridiculous, so I've made it into an "Ancestral pop thing" #showtooltip /use [@mouseover, nomod] Riptide /use [@INSERTCHARACTERNAMEHERE, mod:shift] Unleash Life The following macro makes you cast NS before HR making it instant cast which significantly buffs the AR damage since I can pop it without casting every 15s. Of course, I don't use it all the time, since it's interesting to pair NS with other spells (such as HS or even LB and CH I'll leave extra dmg macros below as well): #showtooltip /use [@cursor, nomod] Healing Rain /use [mod:shift] Nature's Swiftness /use [@cursor, mod:shift, help, nodead] [@cursor] Healing Rain (I know there's a double @cursor, but it was the only way I could make it work, not sure why tho) And the dmg one #showtooltip Chain Lightning /use [nomod] Chain Lightning /use [mod:shift] Nature's Swiftness /use [mod:shift, nodead][@target] Chain Lightning DISCLAIMER: When you use the NS macro with other spells combined, you NEED to be stationary, otherwise you'll only cast NS. That happens because of the GCD order when casting, the macro does cast NS and the following spell, but if you're on the move, it will only cast NS and with a second press, cast the dmg or healing spell. Just stop moving when pressing the macro and the spells will shoot properly Hope to help some of you! GLHF

I don't really see the point of AA for us tbh, its not that much healing overall, our ST is already very good, and I tend to prefer reactive warding and downpour over it

Love to see a guide like that! I never expected it, but even before the start of the m+ season I really got into farseer, but it still has kind of bad rep for being a lot worse.

I mean...totemic IS easier to play fur sure. But let's not pretend that farseer isn't also spamming the same few buttons all the time :D (or really any healer to be fair). Just because totemic is so easy doesn't automatically mean that farseer is hard (not saying you are claiming that, but it's how a lot of newbies perceive it). It's just Riptide, surge and chain, but mostly replaces rain (or rather surging) with UL (when looking at button amount). They both have swiftness so nothing changes there except the cooldown. Not having to worry about High Tide (for M+ at least) has always been a thing to be fair. Nobody is planning or playing around High Tide except theorycrafters when writing their guides or when in a heavily scripted and coordinated boss encounter (with no rng and pugs taking silly dmg). In practice, healing is too unpredictable (especially for the 90% of people pugging) to really bother with 'playing around High Tide'. If you need a chain heal and the situation warrants it; fire it. Heck, even when I play totemic I still sometimes (albeit rarely) hard cast a chain heal. Nice guide though. Very thorough.

I have been trying farseer in M+ and my god I cant seem to get even close to the Hps that totemic had that is much easier. I really dont understand. You should make a video going over a key or just a farseer rotation video. I keep riptide up on everyone and still just cant seem to keep uo in a +8 so when you say +14 are basically free im like how the fuck is that possible lol.

So when even when people are topped you always keep out all your riptides is that correct? In mythic plus. I havnt heard anyone clearify that.

Question, why not swap out Master of Elements for Primal Tide Core, I'm new coming back to Resto in war within. But are we really meant to be weaving in enough lava bursts into our rotation to make the talent worthwhile? And would PTC not still out perform it? Thanks!

How bad would it be if I wanted to play Farseer in M+ but never cast Healing Rain? Is that viable at all, or would I be trolling?

i found if cheal consume the riptide buff to get 30% buff, this chainheal hit will not buffed by floodwaters if not in healing rain

Awesome vid. Been playing rsham for 12 years and found this to be great! I've usually always played HST so cloudburst might take a second to get used to though. Would HST still be viable or do you find Cloudburst overall a better fit for the farseer build?
