I did my first M+ Necrotic Wake (2+ haha) last night and 2nd mythic as Farseer (was totemic before) and I kinda wish I saw this before I healed it! It would of helped prepare for just the wildness that is this dungeon, difficulty no where near your key but never stepping foot in it and being like ok time to heal was wild. I do feel though you are right that Farseer has the better ability to spot heal, and when you do spot heal it hits harder. Ive actually been enjoying farseer so far its alot more active instead of the semi passive playstyle of totemic. Excellent video!
Thanks Shamrocked for this video. I started out this expansion playing Farseer but when m+ came out I swapped to Totemic and haven’t looked back. Now that I’ve started doing 11s I notice the lack of spothealing in totemic but I’m scared to swap back. I’ll be watching your video’s and testing it in some 10s. Then I hope I can swap between hero talents depending on the dungeon. PS: I love the battle rezz totem aswell.
Very cool info, thanks. I just tried farseer again in this dungeon last night and the AOE damage on stitchflesh was OPPRESSIVE. I was hoping I’d learn a cool trick here for that boss but it seems like my DPS just couldn’t hang. I had to literally tell them OmniCD is showing me their off CD defensives (🙄) because I blew everything as spaced out as I could…. In the moment it was enough for me to delete my farseer talents lol. Maybe I’ll try again after I watch your guide.
@@Waevform I mean there is a good trick to that boss, it's just not something in your control. Dps have to kill the first creation as the second one is coming out or the damage is just too much. In this run here our dps left it up too long. The other trick is to bring shields! There are so many throughout the dungeon, if you are in discord you can coordinate who picks them up as well and you can use 2-3 just for that boss if needed.
Do you gear more in to haste? I have for the most part played totamic. I felt farseer to ba a little "slow" some times? I have low haste atm. stuck on 10-11 atm, want to climb higer
Wondering the same, out there it seemed crit/versa was the way to go. I am not sure if I am undergeared, or need haste for m+. Avanoxx shrill is wiping my ass on M7. Can't react fast enough and the group damage is so high.
@@boyr321 I think my current haste is 11-12%. I think for farseer 10-13% is what your aim should be. Should still focus crit and vers. Vers is a direct buff to ancestor healing as they do a % of your raw output

Growl plays farseer quite a bit in keys as well and he runs a lot more haste. Still crit/vers focused but he runs 11-13% haste as well

If those chains on last boss went on melee more than you, probably don’t time that with lack of uptime. Good RNG.
@@RazaDazza yea maybe! Thankfully death knights can ams it and rogues can cloak so might have been okay either way. But yes sometimes you roll high 🙏
