Hi thanks Laren for your guide again ! They are so Helpful ! It's a bit strange, I mained resto shaman since early shadowlands, always had a blast with the toolkit. When I saw hero talent as Beta was going, I was convinced I would play Farseer, looked like my cup of tea, but I hopped into the totemic train for a while until +12 keys or so. Last 2 weeks I've been timing 13 as Farseer and I enjoy it much more ! I feel like I have more controls over life bars... Idk ! Tried going back to totemic but it just doesn't feel the same ! I'am happy to have given Farseer another try ! I'am sticking to it for now and having a blast ! Timed my first 14 this week !
Been super frustrated pushing keys these last weeks, because I just feel like I have a hard time ST heal people up, and when the cooldowns are used the mana pool disapears. So I've been playing mostly Elemental instead. This video inspired me to try out farseer again (did like one dungeon in the beginning of the exp.) so well see how it turns out. Did a low key to get a feel for it and the ST feels a lot nicer and fun to have cloudburst back, dps rotation feels less one note.
@@renekrupitz529 stats didn’t change for any of the hero talent specs since my first guide. You’ll still want crit and vers for both specs, although farseer favours a bit more haste compared to totemic
Maybe this comment will come too late for a response, but for your M+ build, how come you play Downpour if not playing Acid Rain? I understand they’re different type of talents, but to me not picking Acid Rain suggests not prioritising rain so figure you would skip downpour to? I would love your thoughts on this, personally I don’t enjoy Healing Rain as Farseer.
When you say you know why most players are playing totemic, are there reasons beyond the better burst AOE heals, the Reactivity bug that makes it stronger than intended for HST, and the Spouting Spirits extra free Chain Heal bug?
Thank you so much, I was looking forward to this :) I definitely enjoy farseer more. I don't understand how totemic is played lol, I just get oom. I'm only doing 11 / 12s in pugs, and spot healing is i think more importnat in pugs, because of the lack of communication and coordination when it comes to ccs and interrupts. I do have a question, how much haste are you playing with ?
I'm trying to get into farseer but I feel instant healing rain with surging just feels so good also u need to unleash to bring out ur ancestors to do decent healing right, so timing that sometimes is hard and or feels clunky?
In case he doesn't answer, I've seen in some of his videos he's had about 13%. No idea what he has now. I happen to be around the same and it seems good.
I'm playing with around 13-15% haste at the moment, will probably up that to 17% ish at some point when I can min max my gear, but this seems more than fine for me so far
@@madhudson1 Purely damage. Haste let's you answer for emergency healing situations faster, but crit and vers will generally be better stats both for damage and healing throughput
i remember hearing before that healing stream totem was bugged. Therefore it was better that cloudburst due to its ease of use the HST bugged gives extra healing. is there any truth to this?
That bug has to do with the Totemic hero talent Reactivity, which is making healing stream totem heal a second ally at 100% effectiveness instead of the intended 50%.
Nice guide, i love farseer gameplay. i tested the the interaction between preeminence and deeply rooted and it doesn't work, maybe its a bug, but now it dont works
Gear won't change much for either spec. Stat wise you're still going after critical strike and versatility and then get haste to comfort. As Farseer, same stuff, but a bit more haste will be more benefitial
I tried farseer until 13s and I love it, but totemic feels sooo much easier to heal I think I have a skill issue Will try this no primordial wave build for sure, thanks!
Re: Untalenting Acid Rain: Both Dawnbreaker and Necrotic Wake have large portions of the dungeon where Acid Rain simply doesnt work. As such, both of those dungeons are great candidates to untalent Acid Rain imo
I do 2-3 8s in a week and I really dont want to try even 9. low keys are cancer. its almost impossible to dps. people get so much dmg all the time. Last night I played with my new disc priest. I did 900k hps on dawnbreaker last boss on the ship. and the key was 5! can you imagine? in what universe +5 boss needs 900k hps? I'd not able to keep my group up if I did not use rapture. So as a healer I really dont want push or progress on anything. I feel like I am playing with apes.
Awesome! So good to see farseer guides coming. I've been loving it!
Thanks

Farseer spothealing with coalescing waters is so good
thx for the guide it would be nice if u can talk about the stats what should be played or what u like the most cheers mate

I love this build so much, but find myself hardly ever casting healing rain, so moved the point from downpour into torrent for the juices riptides

Do you not use Cloudburst Toem in Farseer? I see u have it talented.

The OG.
how can i get to the place where you bought the glyphs of ascendant forms
Dalaran, there’s a portal in Krasus Landing
do you think farseer benefits from haste more than totemic? Been trying to get my shaman to around 20% haste for farseer
Yes, farseer wants more haste to benefit more during your ancestors' damage windows
@@lareneu is the haste purely for damage windows, or would your general healing as farseer benefit from haste over crit/vers too?

No, not at all, I just use it for stacked group healing + to benefit from the HP bonus from Downpour
what about the type of gear for each spec ? :)

When 95% of healers use totemic it clearly looks like farseer should be buffed in some way for us casual players.
Eh, both of them are excellent, its just farseer takes a bit more work, but doesnt have mana issues.
tried farseer first time after totemic. it heals so little compared to totemic ... idk how ppl even play that in high keys
I tried farseer until 13s and I love it, but totemic feels sooo much easier to heal I think I have a skill issue
Will try this no primordial wave build for sure, thanks!
Seems like a fun alt spec to fuck around with but Totemic is just easier and more impactful on AOE
