Remember first listening to these programs on the original WGSO in New Orleans in the late seventies, greatest station ever in N.O.I recall being scared listening to them as a 10 yr old and the commercials were actually a relief from the suspense.I actually enjoyed the advertisements.Hearing them now gives me a sense of warmth. We had a great nation and we've messed it up.

When I was 12yrs old I use to try to listen ever night. It came on the radio at 11:00 PM and I had to be up at 6:00 AM. I loved the Mysterys but most often I'd fall to sleep before it was over. That local radio station would preempt the show for anything. I hated that!

They make at least two mistakes. They're supposedly around the Moon but keep saying that they have traveled 90 million miles. That would put them near the Sun. The moon is only 250,000 miles. And they say the Fourth Dimension is involved. Uh yeah, that's also known as time. Of course it's involved but it doesn't explain how they made it to the Moon.

There are a few problems with the script. The distance from the earth to the moon is not 93 million miles, which is later correctly stated as 250 thousand miles. There are also E.G.Marshall's lines calling the space station "God Speed One", when the script for the actors has it named "Good Speed One". CBS synopsis also has the name "Good Speed One".
