This is Ubisoft, Heroes III HD Edition, right? That bug from RoE was solved in posterior versions of Heroes III. Nowadays, if you play a real version, the grail disappears if the hero is defeated or flees. But they recolored the creatures and left the bugs...

Ubisoft has the rights over all Heroes of Might & Magic source code, the reason they used the RoE version was allegedly because they lost the latest Homm III versions in some "accident". HotA team doesn't know the source code and has done much for it. Where there is a will, there is a way. But the only drive Ubisoft has is to rip players from their money, so all they produced was a cash grabber.
I remember that there was somehow a chance to steal other player heroes if they lost at day seven or something like this. But I don't remember how that happened.
IIRC it happens if you retreat in a battle on day 7 and don't buy the hero again in Tavern the same day, the opponent can buy the hero with all the artifacts you collected
@@martii0120 Well, the +2 morale bonus is decent but there are better options. The max value of your morale is +3 after all and you can easily achieve that by leadership skill, artifacts, or angels in the group. Also even with max morale the chance for the extra turn is still just 12.5% which is not that much. But on the other hand Tower's grail building reveals the whole map, which is insanely strong (that +15 knowledge is just a small extra gift). With this you don't have to waste time and heroes on scouting and you will know everything about your enemy so there are no nasty surprises or wasted movement points. In my opinion that's way better than that +2 morale.

yeah its all about preference, placing the grail in Tower is really nice indeed , its really helpfull to reveal the whole map . i just placed the grail in the castle since it was when i found the hero with the grail

Thing is, heroes don't 'die', they're eliminated from game by defeat in battle. All their arts go to the victor - but grail. The mechanics of defeating grail carrier is that grail just vanishes. Wtf was here, how, i've no idea.
Graphicaly HD of steam is not bad to be honest after seeing this video, but I prefer HOTA with HD mod and all the content. You don't even have Armaggedon Blade and Shadow of Death... And playing without HOTA is hard for me now.
Same, but I miss playing co-op with my family, Hota makes it less randomized and more balanced for multiplayer. Makes sense for versus not as fun for co-op however.

the dig command is beside the view puzzle command on the menu . note the hero in quastion must not have used any movements points before digging . choose the spot to dig and wait a day/turn then dig

Doğal olarak factory gibi orijinaline uygun bir fraksiyona bile tahammül edemiyorum. Güzel bir filmin saçma devam filmi gibi geliyor.. o yüzden shadow of the death sürümünden sonrasına bakmıyorum bile..

i have the original version now with all expasions , i got the steam version before knowing of where i could get the original version , the steam hd version is a dissepointment i agree

You are wrong. If you run in battle you won t have full army. You would have for example one Centaur, not 3 units like in thid wideo. Thats why thus is rare moment
@@magmus2968 you can still recreate this effect by attacking ai hero with this limit and press "run for money", don't know how this called in english, you've got the idea anyway
