I used this blind for deer hunting this season ruclips.net/user/postUgkxvlQxmcZQzSQSYbJsEgAGvG2DaduKTV99 and will use it again for turkey this coming April 19'. The only common sense thing I recommend is wear all black to cover your upper body considering the inside of the blind is black and dont open unnecessary windows to silhouette yourself. Other then that, spray some water proof spray on the seams and roof. Dont forget your comfy chair, happy hunting.
The deer blind looks great! Maybe add some dark tint to the windows/doors so that it’s private and the animals can’t see inside. I think that would be a great addition to the blind.
Yeah, im pretty sure you can find camo tint. I would also add some camo curtains. That way, it's like a ground blind. You open a window, and a deer will notice. You open a window with a curtain and shoot out the side of the curtain, and the deer will never see it coming.
Removable camo drop box for the beer caps- stools that will hold a 250# guy. Electrical issues need fixed- and the price after all is said and done! Other than that, it looks really nice and comfortable. Great Job Brad!!
Forget Bob the builder my dad watched, Its Brad the builder time! You would do great at infomercials. I'd buy a pillow, slap chopper, set it and forget it oven from you!
@Brad the Builder I would imagine so. Depends on the price though. I recommend getting a vinyl wrap for the doors and windows. The glass can be covered with window vinyl that has tons of holes allowing you to see out but from the outside it looks like camo, or in your case, stained cedar.
@@BradtheBuilder yes they will and would use it. It's definitely a great way on how to do a blind. I know many people who do hunt and I've seen their blinds and there done nothing like that and really do like that idea of sound proofing so no animals can hear you is a great feature to have on a blind. So the animals can't hear you. All you have to do is think like what an animal would do and what a hunter would like. You and your guys are very talented in what you do. That would be a very good idea getting into that type business a portable hunting blind goes with you on the road. Awesome idea.. people would love that and if they wanted could use it like a camping trailer as well. Thank you Brad the Builder for us the viewer the opportunity to watch your shows. Have a great and safe morning or evening.

I think it will in around 2843 pounds. lol. It's awesome! Can't wait to see y'all use it for some type of hunting. I have 0 clue how I missed this video, but glad I found it.
Brad The Builder it looks good the only thing that I think it’s missing is a electric flattop griddle and a portable sink to put in the bathroom to wash your hands .
It looks amazing so far one thing I’d recommend doing instead of the mesh is tint the windows to like 5% you’ll be able to see out when the light comes out and the animals won’t really be able to see in that’ll also make it a little easier to open the windows saying you won’t have to open 2 objects to shoot
Looks amazing! Maybe instead of a loud generator, go with jackery batteries and solar panels on the roof. As for the window just add Camo tint ! Great job with the trailer!!! 💯💯
Looks amazing Brad great job. I don’t think you forgot anything can’t wait to see flairs reaction he’s probably going to want to camp in it all the time.
Looks & sounds like a great unit. If you vent the roof and add a ( eg. Roof rack) so you can add a tip out roof tent for guests & offer yet more usefulness. Because yes, although you can rough in more useful items inside. Fold down wall bunk beds over the bean bag chair. Meanwhile, if the tent tips out over the patio doors, then the roof top tent not only works as an awning but offers the ability to add on an outside room. So when you get a portable tent stove, you can set it up outside in the shared annex dining room area. It will heat not only the rooftop tent but the trailer, too... Meh, after that, a sink that drains to a hose outside so you can use a water tote (with a gravity feed) set up; along with a small roof top portable solar unit. P.s. if that gun vault takes up too much useful space you can turn it into a convection fire stove heater. By placing 16 dinner candles, submerged into a HUGE glass CANDY storage jar full of lard! Making a better than 48 hour convection heater. Or do the diy cooking oil fire box using the baby wipes as a long (log fire styled wick). In such a way, that you could pipe in the prewarmed ambiant air from the annexed tent room - ( i.e., via / thru closed air pipes) which in turn gets heated up more via your diy convection heater & into your trailer. Lastly if you really want to push it you could channel the wood gas from your outside wood stove to power an outside generator if needed. Look up wood gas fuel the solar can also help you develop an outside hydrogen gas bubbler that if need be you could also vent to the generators' carburbtor to mix ever so slighly with the wood gases (warning eg. LIKE only ONE PUFF! at a time! -directly from the water cell of the hydrogen puffer)...... & Yup that's about it!
The blind looks awesome! I would try to get the squeak out of the door because the sound caused from that could potentially scare of the deer or whatever Flair is hunting. I would also suggest that tint be added to windows just for privacy and to reduce some of the reflection from the windows. All in all, awesome job, Brad!
@@BradtheBuilder Awesome man! Great work on it man! Could definitely be a new market you can dive into with this being the sample after flair puts it to the test. Another thing you could do is adding higher clearance and all terrain tires to help in muddy locations. As well as adding places where you can add anchors to secure the trailer to the ground using mobile home anchors. (That is if you haven’t already done this and I missed it.)
Easy things would be coat hangers and painting the window trim so it's not white. I wouldn't have done a sliding door but you're going to want to tint it and a curtain. Movement will spook the wildlife. I would also look into dometic refrigerated coolers, they take up the same space and draw from a 12 volt system
Sorry for my late reply… I have one of those refrigerators/freezers that I could replace the cooler with! Several people are telling me I need to 10th and windows so I’m going to get that done - thnaks
That is a next level hunting blind for sure. You may want to think about putting your camo netting on the inside and use some sort of hook or Velcro so that you can lift a small corner out of the way for shooting purposes. My guess on the weight is 3950. Nice job Brad.
I loved this episode. Glad you are almost through so we can see Flair’s reaction. I hope you film your first hunting trip. Can’t wait to see it. I say 4290 lbs. thank you Brad
Man this thing is cool. Great work! The only thing I would add is a way to have the heater and cooler “mounted” in place so they don’t move while going down the road. Maybe some L brackets mounted around them to keep them from moving. Again great job!
If you want to add some more sound deafening, you could mount some acoustic foam/panels on the ceiling. Would keep the rest of the design nice while breaking up some sound
Brad the dear blind looks awesome looks great for an idea you said you wanted a Hyderabad for the blind do some research they have some out now that turns into a bunk bed upper and lower bed on them and couch other then that it looks great I did like the idea for a skinning rack That can hook to a receiver in the back to hang your animals For another idea for that I would use an electric wench so you're not hand cranking late at night when you're tired and been out in the field hunting all day and harvest animal but it looks great good job
That blind looks great! The only thoughts I have are to put camo on the inside so it can be moved easier or use some of the privacy tinting that you can see thru but not see in. You can get a color to match the side of the blind. Also add some anchor points to strap stuff (heater, cooler, etc...)down for transport.
Great job Brad and crew !! It looks great ! For your Camo window covers on the outside what about stick on Velcro .. you can get extra wide ? Or if it can go on the inside Velcro it and put tie backs in it when you don’t want it to cover the windows !! But it looks great ! If Flair don’t like it ... I want it !! Lol
Amazing job, Brad! It's basically a tiny home! Is it OK for the heater to be next to the ammo? You might want to put something to catch the bottle caps. 🙂
I’ve heard stories about Catholic girls & camping… I don’t allow cameras 🤔. Yes, a a hide a bed/couch would easily sit in place of the Boating bean bag chairs.
Id test the horn from the inside and see what it sounds like from the outside. And yes you should sell these! Either as a mobile deer blind or a 2 person camper 😀 i know i think it would make a great little 2 person camper and if you went the camper route on it you could easily replace the gun safe with a mini fridge of some sort and even put a oning on the outside for shade, i know id buy both! Anyway keep up the amazing work brad! You and your crew are amazing
Brad, It turned out amazing. I think Flair will be very thankful that you took the time to build something so nice for him. You talked about using it as a hut for ice fishing, do you think it will be to heavy to sit on the ice? What is the total weight of the man cave on wheels?
The ice fishing holes yes!!! Also wheres the deer hanger!? Also you should install those mesh window covers with buttons so they can be easily put on and taken off. Great job tho
Looks great. I was thinking for you to maybe do some tint on the windows, or a camouflage overlay on the windows themselves to they don’t get in the way when you’re hunting, I think it’ll weight in at 1857lbs
@BRAD, bud you did a fantastic job, heck id stay in it. Where did you get that stove???? I need it, ok i want it but still!!! I do love the hinged butcher block idea, especially if you have 2 or 3 pple in there moving with rifles, you may need the room. I also think putting a blackout tint film on all the glass would help and then use the camo stuff to help while your actually shooting to shield yourself from the wildlife. I do think solar panels on the roof with a few hook ups would be beneficial as I know Flair has the Ecoflow (I double checked his videos) which is a solar generator that can be charged many ways and would benefit him greatly in this build. Id also suggest running some 12v cigarette sockets. The reason i say that is because things like ice fishing Garmin's or even a 12v freezer/fridge cooler you can buy at home depot all run off that and it'll keep whatever you need cool at a proper temperature, plus worst case scenario you will definitely have enough juice with the solar panels to plug in a small cigarette adapter to charge phones or gopros for filming. Also i wouldnt worry too much about water most pple bring some, have wipes and you could always slide a cullgan bottle under the back window and use the pump attachment to clean up, its old school but if it isnt broke, dont fix it kinda thing lol. You also might want to add a few hooks that can swivel against the wall when not in use(for coats and bags), that way no one takes a eye out. All in all it turned out fantastic and im sure as time goes by you will find more and more things to add or change but to me heck Id camp in it. Lets be honest, this could be a tiny home and many folks without a home would be so grateful, and we all know Flair will appreciate it. And again, where did yoy get that stove???? Dont tell my wife im asking lol.
This is all electric, so there’s no need for car and monoxide detection… Unless you’re concerned about the exterior generator? I have a 25 foot cord that would allow the generator to be plenty distance away when running.
Brad you do amazing work everything you touch turns out wonderful I wish u lived in fla my mother had her house rebuilt cuz the other one was so old so she had i someone build her a new one and let me tell u that guy who built it had a year to finish it and he waited and waited two weeks before it was supposed to be done all he had was the house built and all the wiring so what he did was cut all the wire and took two foot of copper and said someone broke in and did it we know he was the one who did it and plus we had a built in pool he wanted to take out cuz now the pool sit rite on top of the pool the house is a inch away from the house and I’m not joking if we walk out are back door and take like three steps down from the stair and turn left we walk straight in the pool no joke and he put this house together in two weeks he put all the doors like the front and the back and the garage door backwards he did such a crappy job of building this house because my mom went through like a government program that loans u the money to bring ur house up to code well are house was so old and the electricity was so messed up they said they were shock that the house didn’t catch on fire we have so much problems with this house shocking cuz it was built on 07 it’s a shame I wish u could of built it
I’m sorry to hear that! Those kind of guys give this industry a bad name🙆♂️ I wished I lived in Florida too… I would’ve love to help you out Of this mess .
Just a rough guess ik how much sheets of dry wall and osb weigh, and the wood so just guess the amount of all those by size. and the windows are probably around 50LBS and sliding door definitely adds another 100LBS + and average boat trailer probably 600LBS-700 but you beefed it up.
Awesome work as usual, Brad. Like I said in a previous video, if you want a luxury ice shack series, I am your guy! Lol. There are many different things you can do to make it different than the deer blind. I am brainstorming ideas already!
Please give me some ideas I have a lake in my backyard… I’m a little nervous to take this heavy trailer out on the ice! Maybe I should wear a life jacket when I’m inside ice fishing😜
@@BradtheBuilder first, the framing should be made of aluminum instead of wood to help with weight. A friend I ice fish with made his using the frame of an old pop up camper. In the back of the shack you could have a table for sitting that turns into a bed. You can have a bed above that and when it’s not being used it folds up towards the ceiling for more head room. I wish I had the skill to build one myself. I don’t need it falling apart down the road. The ice shack could second as a camper in the summer!
@@cameronfrieden6148 yes I should’ve used aluminum studs, but the original idea behind the build was to see if I could build it cheaper than the Home Depot/Lowes sheds which are framed out of 2x4
About the only thing I'd add is some bungee tie downs for the heater, cooler and stools to stop them moving around in transit. Apart from that I'm loving it! There's a type of mesh used in bus advertising and similar things that you can see out of, but looking in it forms a solid screen. I've seen some hunting blinds use something like it. It's a bit like a one way mirror kind of deal. I'm guessing around 1700 pounds. God I hope I'm wrong lol because then it'll tow like a pig.
This thing turned out fantastic..adding the ice fishing holes is a great idea...is there a way to hook up a power station from the inside of the cabin directly to the main power? And when you decide to make a couch/bed make sure it's high enough to where you're not looking up Flairs skirt while he's sitting at the bar, or just cut the bar so it folds.
@@BradtheBuilder I think what I was trying to get at is if you wanted to use a quiet power source like a power bank, those need to be kept out of the elements including extreme temps. So you would need a way to connect a power bank to the main panel from the inside as well as outside for shore and gas generator power. I guess you could run the power cord from outside through a window to the power bank if you really needed to.

You should talk to flair about solar panels for a source of power. Wouldnt be as loud as a generator. Love the videos
You’re right this thing needs. Solar panels are some very quiet source of power. Doesn’t Flair have electric battery charge generators?
Looks great. My suggestion as a hunter is putting all windows in upside down. Makes the window a a quick useable gun rest.
Honestly it’s really awesome to have friends with skill level and vision flairs pretty lucky. Also you could start a whole luxury deer blind business.

I’ve heard stories about Catholic girls & camping… I don’t allow cameras 🤔. Yes, a a hide a bed/couch would easily sit in place of the Boating bean bag chairs.
brad your crushing it
Thanks 😜🎺
Id test the horn from the inside and see what it sounds like from the outside. And yes you should sell these! Either as a mobile deer blind or a 2 person camper 😀 i know i think it would make a great little 2 person camper and if you went the camper route on it you could easily replace the gun safe with a mini fridge of some sort and even put a oning on the outside for shade, i know id buy both! Anyway keep up the amazing work brad! You and your crew are amazing
I like the idea about adding an awning👍
Great job! I really like the wood walls. Guessing about 3,650
Thanks for your guess👍
That's pretty awesome Brad!!
Thanks for watching 👍
Brad, It turned out amazing. I think Flair will be very thankful that you took the time to build something so nice for him. You talked about using it as a hut for ice fishing, do you think it will be to heavy to sit on the ice? What is the total weight of the man cave on wheels?
We’re having a contest, you need to guess the weight of this thing when we present it in the next video you can win a hat and shirt
@@BradtheBuilder i am going to say 811
Sweet build can’t wait for Flairs reaction. Haha maybe fix the light flicker. I think the weight will be 6200 pounds
The light flicker was a Generator issue… I got it fixed
Nice job Brad. As for the weight of the rolling man cave, 3800 lbs.
The ice fishing holes yes!!! Also wheres the deer hanger!? Also you should install those mesh window covers with buttons so they can be easily put on and taken off. Great job tho
The deer hanger you’re referring to? Was an idea I had about adding a hitch to the back of it.
Awesome job nice❤
Looks great. Flair always is cooking how are they going to accomplish this hunting? Great idea on putting holes for fishing also. Enjoy watching
You’ll have to put a barbecue outside… I don’t want him stinking up the place
Looks great. I was thinking for you to maybe do some tint on the windows, or a camouflage overlay on the windows themselves to they don’t get in the way when you’re hunting, I think it’ll weight in at 1857lbs
I’d probably use that more for ice fishing than a deer blind but hey it would work either way!
I would like the ice Fishing the best
That looks awesome good work on putting up the fishing rod holders my guess is going to be 4780 pounds
Thanks for watching I got your guest down
I’m going to guess 2500lbs. It look’s awesome and I can’t wait to see what flair does with this. Awesome job
Thanks
Great job ! I'm saying it is going to be around 4250 lbs.
I think I got the stove at Menards. If you don’t have one in your area, they do have a website.
Looks awesome! Need to add a Carbon monoxide detector
Those kind of guys give this industry a bad name🙆♂️ I wished I lived in Florida too… I would’ve love to help you out
Of this mess .
Looking good and for a guess on the weight well idk 2650Lbs can't wait to see his reaction!
@@BradtheBuilder if you are going to use it for ice fishing just attach pontoons to the outside.
If the ice breaks you can just float.
@@dalegereaux1863 Dale, I love the way you think! 👍❤️
@@cameronfrieden6148 yes I should’ve used aluminum studs, but the original idea behind the build was to see if I could build it cheaper than the Home Depot/Lowes sheds which are framed out of 2x4
You should use really good magnets for the camo covers. So you can easily hang em and take them down.
Looks good by the way Brad. Well done.
I never thought of using magnets… Good idea! Thanks
6750 lbs. blind turned out great!
Thanks…👍
This thing turned out fantastic..adding the ice fishing holes is a great idea...is there a way to hook up a power station from the inside of the cabin directly to the main power? And when you decide to make a couch/bed make sure it's high enough to where you're not looking up Flairs skirt while he's sitting at the bar, or just cut the bar so it folds.
The power hook up is on the outside on the very front and I’ve installed a metal basket where you can put a German
Not German… Generator
@@BradtheBuilder I think what I was trying to get at is if you wanted to use a quiet power source like a power bank, those need to be kept out of the elements including extreme temps. So you would need a way to connect a power bank to the main panel from the inside as well as outside for shore and gas generator power. I guess you could run the power cord from outside through a window to the power bank if you really needed to.
@@run_rabbit-run9762 ok! Now I understand 👍
