Hey brad.....u need to build a few of those. Sell them as deer blind or tiny homes. Very popular genre on youtube too.....people would live in full time. Next deer blind specific paint all green so blends in...apart from that youre good. Build a wood bed changing to couch...pull out slatted rectangle on side near door...really need to sell a few as tiny homes and use up old windows or salvage materials...people would love it if has alot of recycled materials in it...esp old rusty metal siding,old windows internal metal wood burning old gas tank converted to woodburner? Looks amazing. Few more give u more good content and could continue to run competitions on weight etc. Keep well and working hard. Cant wait to see it hunted in and used. Peace.
That’s a good idea. I really enjoyed this project. When I build my pole barn by Flair, I’ll make sure I build it big enough to have an indoor shop to fabricate and build tiny homes for resell.! It would be great content as I go to lumberyards and garage sales, picking up odds and ends to build into these deer blinds and mini homes. Thanks ❤️

@@BradtheBuilder It hadn't crossed my mind, but it would be worth a try. I've seen fainting goats before and all the things that Andrew and Banjo tried should have made at least one of them faint. I think they were bamboozled. Fainters should faint just be being run up on, it's not really a "noise" thing but it's definitely something they should try!!!🤣
@@BradtheBuilder the 1/4” hex bit driver is surprisingly powerful. The one you were using was more of a drill style with a slip clutch not an impact style clutch that hammers back and forth so you don’t feel any resistance.

I have always wanted to go hunting, but have never even held a gun and I certainly cannot go now so I'll live vicariously thru you on your first hunt . My dad went duck hunting when I was a kid. Our basement at the time was unfinished so he brought his sack of ducks downstairs when he got home. I snuck down there to see them and one was flying around the basement! I froze and screamed, mom came running and then SHE froze and screamed. Next thing I knew dad was down there grabbing said duck and taking it outside, haha. I believe that was the last time dad went hunting. Funnily enough, I was served duck at an uncle's house several years after that and found it "fowl" (haha) tasting. I can honestly say I'm not eager to try it again! Anyways, you know I had to get a little story in my comment, but tried to keep it short and sweet, haha. I am really, really impressed with what you were able to do with this trailer! The details and the finishing is really, really nice. Hi Heather! I have done a little trapshooting since my son Max did that competitively in high school. I must admit I do need more practice. ! I don’t believe I have ever eaten duck either it does sound a little fowl😜. I’m sure once a hunting season comes around. Andrew will be a good instructor teaching me the ends and out of hunting.
Nice deer blind Brad,,, For future use the four corner jacks are stabilizer jacks so you use blocks under the tire on one side or the other to level the trailer from side to side and use the front jack to level from front to back then your four corner jacks to stabilize the trailer now there is no need to lift the trailer enjoy and good luck on your first hunting venture..

I just wanna say this: I’ve been around the construction business since I was old enough to walk around behind my dad and pick up sheetrock scraps. You don’t see many guys who have the same subs for 20 years. You don’t see many gc’s have the same guys working for him for years. That tells me Brad takes good care of his guys. I’m really impressed with the work on your jobs man. They are quality. My hat’s off to you. I do have one question that I guess I missed. What did the blind cost to build? That things sweet!

Beautiful….. Need to add them line levels on all 4 sides, make it a lot easier when you’re doing it, I’d also use a Dwalt impact. But other than that you did an excellent job. 👍👍

They actually make camoflauge tint for hunting blind windows that have small holes in it to make it even easier for hunters to see out of. Just stick it to the outside of your window and you’re golden, might be worth looking into
Great job Brad, you know a good idea for the glass doors is to get that black stick on film with the tiny holes all over it, put that on to stop the reflection and you can still see out. I don't know what is called, but the use it on the back windows of Taxi can here with advertising on it, but plain black would work great.

With Leveling trailers manually, you are supposed to block under the tires and jack to level 95% of the way and then run down the stabilizers. Those aren't meant to hold the weight of a whole trailer.
@@BradtheBuilder no. I have an cheaper camper with just stabilizers. I drive the tires up on 2x12s into a pyramid if needed to level side to side, and put a 2x12 under the jack or a couple if needed to level front to back. I'll link a video in a comment next.

Deer blind looks great. Brad use an impact a half inch impact to torque those jacks down. If you ever have to you need it any advice on RVs or building anything on a trailer hit me up man it’s what I do for a profession.

We did hurricane tiedown like we use in existing homes There are Simpson straps. It travels very nice in regards to a heat vent. It’s all electric heat, so there is no need for a vent.

Those jacks ain't made to jack the camper up there. Just made the stabilize. You just put a little pressure on them to keep it from swaying
I didn’t mean to use the jacks to lift the tires off the ground it just happened in this episode I only intended to use them, it so it’s stable

Great build! How did you, or would you recommend building the roof so you could travel on the freeway? Did you install vents for heat, etc?
We did hurricane tiedown like we use in existing homes There are Simpson straps. It travels very nice in regards to a heat vent. It’s all electric heat, so there is no need for a vent.
@BradtheBuilder Thank you for the response. I was asking about a heat vent, meaning if the cabin is sealed would it need a ventilation point? I am in South Texas
@@HollywoodMGB3 it doesn’t need a heat vent with Electric heat! If it was gas, then yes, you need to vent that out

Those are stabilizer jacks and not really meant to lift and carry weight. They are just there to plant the rig, and keep motion down.
