This song nearly killed us flutes. As much as we were dying, I will admit it was fun.

Piccolo's livin in torture more than the flutes tbh, still fun though

I’m playing this in band, it sounds so freaking amazing, this is the best recording that I’ve found of it

I remember playing this in high school. One of, if not my favorite, pieces I did prior to college.

Is it just me or would this make an awesome marching band show?

2nd and 3rd clarinets have it easy on this one. Thank goodness for that! This piece is one of my favorites, thanks for posting this recording.

Wait 'till you see the clarinet part. We have to jump octaves practically every three notes in the beginning.

This is a terrible representation of Irish music. Noe of the character of traditional Irish music is here. This is nothing more than a tepid, trivial movie score. Come to think of it most of Balmages band music is like this. Overblown wannabee- symphonic trash.

Celtic and Irish are 2 different things. Irish is a nationality and celtic is a race. Scottish and Welsh people are celtic too for example. If it doesn't properly represent Irish people then 🤷🏽‍♀️ it's not really supposed to?? Don't like it, don't listen to it 😂

Making a lot of assumptions there

I believe the arrangement does represent celtic style traditional music. However, the interpretation and actual performance presented here is lacking in musicality.
