I like your creative nature. But when costs and practicality come into consideration, they have oscillating tools available here in the USA much cheaper than the time I would hire a machinist to do this for me. Thanks and can't wait until the next video.
I have always thought these as projects for a person who has these tools or access to them. Very few will have money to hire someone to make these things for them and yes, oscilating saws can be bought at very reasonable price. But again, if i had the tools available (lack of a lathe being the largest obstacle :) i would make this for myself. Despite cheapo china saws being available by the truck loads....
@@alaric_ Hi Alaric. I agree with you. Since I do not have a lathe (or the expertise to operate it), I am stuck either hiring a machinist or purchasing the tool. I try not to buy cheap Chinese, but rather to get a good US, or European tool. This of course is getting more difficult in this International world, but as long as I try to stay in the higher models each company offers, I can usually get a quality tool and in this case certainly cheaper than hiring a machinist for a few hours time. I really wouldn't knock Chinese built products, especially when buying higher quality items. To this date, it is hard to get a better made bike for the price. If they tried to have the iPhone manufactured in the US, it would probably cost double. Just need to be a knowledgeable buyer. Thanks again.

It would be nice to have a Q and A live some time and for a walk around your work shop maybe a voice content but the way you do things is definitely a pleasure and amazing please keep up the good editing and content solitude is definitely the way RUclipsrs should do it and mean that but maybe just one video we can have you with a Q and A live or off the books I know your really private but again that you for your content and it's bad ass lol
with the oscillating mechanism being very heavy, your hands will frigging DIE from vibration sickness.
The actual mass isn't that high, at least when comparing with the weight of the whole angle grinder itself.
@@alaric_ but the vibration looks real bad .. my hands go numb if i am on a lawn mower too long ,, looks like i might last 5 mins with his tool

Not sure if you were just wanting to d oa proof of concept. But for me, the time, cost of power, tools, etc etc costs more than if i just goto store and BUY a oscillating tool.
Some of the designs arent as good as store bought, but I think he just wants to make everything

Пластина передающая колебания умрет быстро так как металл явно сталь пластелин 3.
И подшипники на такое не расчитанны.
Но качество изготовления и мастерство работы с инструментом и станками на высоком уровне.

it always amazes me how people make threads.. I keep thinking the tool is going to wipe out the threads made on the next pass.. so how come this doesnt happen? How does the thread tool pass along its axis at the right time to end up in the same path as the previous pass putting the tool back into the thread grooves and not over a hair to wipe out the threads?

Nice to see Cyprus uses the best 240V plugs and sockets ever designed (BS1363).
These plugs can be used as flails to bash intruders over the head and crack their skulls open.

What brand of step drill bits do you use? I have tried 3 or 4 different brands and they all seem to dull out very easily
Bad cutting technique. Use plenty of lube with the right feed and speed. If your hand drilling, press as hard as you possibly can with a drill over 10mm.
@@zanpekosak2383 i think the brands I tried were just too cheap. I always use cutting fluid.
@@GrooveyGrubworm I have had a little bit of luck with the step bit also tried the tapered one no steps ,, well it did what a shop vac does ,, it sucked ..

Что мешает вырезать отверстие в гипсокартоне канцелярским ножичком?
Отпилить уголок доски ножовкой и зачистить наждачной бумагой?
попробуйте ножичком прорезать отверстие в гипсокартоне..и сразу поймете предназначение подобного инструмента (хотя конечно вибрация тут дикая..лучше уж мультитул нормальный использовать)
про то, что отрезать уголок (или 20 уголков) и отшлифовать все, быстрее и проще электроинструментом, чем вручную, и говорить не стоит
@@VitaminchikD Прорезать-то возможно. Времени и сил уйдёт больше, чем осциллорезом. Моё сугубо личное мнение, что лучше его купить, чем убить несколько часов/дней на его создание, используя кучу оборудования и оснастки.

150 полуляхов из 250 . Самоделка делко не полная хуйня, ибо вроде как работает, но за те бабки которые были вложены в клип можно купить реноватор и не сношать мозг))
