  • Hello my darlings! If you have recently graduated from PA School, CONGRATULATIONS!
    Next step is obtaining your state license to be able to start practicing as a PA! Although this can be a long and frustrating process, it is not as difficult as it seems, and I’m here to help you along! Let’s talk about the steps you need to complete over the next 10 minutes:
    TIME STAMPS:
    • Overview of the 4 steps you need to complete - 1:28

    • Obtaining DEA # - 8:21
    • After-graduation costs - 9:00

    Thank you so much for making this video! Just an FYI for future viewers, you can actually apply for your NPI as a student (PAEAonline has a great video for this), but you need your license for the DEA

    I completed my Bachelors of physician assistant from BITS PILANI University, India. Currently I am looking for any opportunity to work as PA in US/UK. Is it possible for me to get work there after clearing PA license exam?Could you please help me?

    I had a classmate tell me that if you go to school in one state you may not be able to practice in another state with different regulations and what not. Example going school in texas and moving to california for work.
    I thought this was incorrect when i heard it because the PANCE is a “national” certificate but this person swore that was the case.
    Any information on this topic you can provide?

      You have to apply to be licensed in each state and graduating in a state doesn't necessarily grant that state's license. I can say from experience, that when you move to a new state it takes several months to get a licensed in the new state.
