DeAndre has been homeless for about 9 years. He talks about how rough it is in Kensington. He's been through a lot. He got stabbed in his face, and had to get 17 staples and 97 stitches. He's also addicted to drugs. He gets emotional when he talks about his mom passing. He misses her dearly. He had 26 months clean once, but ended up relapsing. He's done a few bids, but is open to changing his life.

I know my dad and it still sucked! He was awful. I wish I never met him! I was always surprised when kids were happy or seeing their dad in middle school. I was terrified
