To tie the two rooms together, use the same color paint as in the living room and either tint it lighter or darker to make it a slightly different hue.
AND paint the grate on your air return the same color as your wall to make it disappear visually.
Or pull a light green from the vase. It's beautiful.
Or paint a lighter shade of the pink of the adjacent wall... the white is too stark. Blue or green, while going well with the view into the living room, will not blend well with the dark pink, in my opinion. The plant and pot are beautiful but would look better on the floor due to their height.
I think the plant is too big for that table top.

I am in northwest Georgia and the temperatures for the last couple of weeks have been in the high 90s; but the “feels like” temperatures have been well over 100°, due to the humidity. Some days it’s so bad, I don’t even go outside after early morning.

You know who has great "reveal" music? Lone Fox - It really sets the mood. I'm between San Jose and Santa Cruz in CA in the redwoods and it's been in the mid-90's most days since July 2. We have no air conditioning, because people around here don't think it's needed. But climate is changing each year. My thoughts are with you with the upcoming surgery. Awe, don't cry, but I am so glad that you can show your emotions on your channel, Music is very healing for me I spent 3 months in the hospital for a bad ankle fracture,I had to have surgery on it and went from a heavy plaster cast to a fibreglass cast and it was lighter and they had an amazingly bright pattern like tie dye but looked more like painted colours on it and it was nice and cheerful then I had it taken off and I had to wear an aircast boot looked like a Frankenstein boot and I hated it went home for 5 hours and I couldn't handle it but a week later came back from the hospital and it's healed and the only shoes I have that are supportive are Crocs not my fashion fave anymore but I ordered a couple of pairs and they aren't cheap but feel so good and non slip so I ordered another 2 pairs!! I'm in Ontario Canada and it is so hot and humid here we have such sweltering heat and alot of rain around the great lakes.i bought a bunch of cute cotton dresses and shorts.and my first kimono, I feel like I am a kid in my mothers closet though because I am only ,5' tall it's not too long though and I'm in a wheelchair and living in a building with stairs so pretty house bound so I love watching your vlogs! I live in Sonoma County in Northern California and we have had quite the heat wave. I truly do not remember one of this duration. Yesterday was 97, today a bit cooler.
My plants (even the native ones) are suffering, even more than they did during the drought.
It’s been super hot and humid here in NE Ohio. I don’t have air conditioning and every year it gets harder with the heat.

Here in Modesto, CA 112 degrees. My sister and I watch your videos all the time . We are best friends like you and your mom. We lost our brother last year and we are the last of our family. Of course we have our kids and grandkids. I am 74 and she is 68 and we do everything together like you and your mom. We love to go thrifting and are currently making junk journals. I, too, lost my husband a week before the COVID shutdown in Feb., 2020. These last three weeks I went through his birthday, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, the 4th of July, my birthday and last Sunday would have been our 41st wedding anniversary. All I can say each year is, “Thank goodness the last four weeks are OVER. 🎉 I’m so sorry you have also now lost your mother-in-law. Thank goodness for Selena uplifting our day! 🎉

Your videos with your mom are great, yet the ones with your husband always make us see into your very touching relationship. I love watching you. I'm an only child too, and your relationship w your Mom reminds me so much of mine with my Mom. She's been gone 14 yrs now and I miss her every day. It's so nice to see someone else have that kind of relationship w their Mom too. Good luck w your surgery. Yes, it's hot in Southern Ohio. We have pretty much hit 90 since the last week of June. Next week is going to be a scorcher. 97 for several says plus nasty humidity , which will make it feel in the 100's. We've had little rain n my garden is suffering as well.
