I was a Master Artisan/basketmaker at the Longaberger Company from 1991-2006. I found one I made here in a yard sale last Summer. It was a fun job.
I always was so drawn to your baskets and bought as many as I could afford as a part time RN, full time momma to four children and farm wife during the 80 and 90, farm recession so it was difficult but I sure managed! I use them still for all kinds of things! I’ve also given some to my grandchildren for keeping because they are very special! Thank you for making these beautiful baskets…an American tradition, most likely soon to be lost. ❤️🩹

You may not have guests but you DEFINITELY have friends. There are no better friends than your husband and your mom. You are soooo blessed to have a husband that is your best friend, I have been married to my best friend for 24 years but before that I was married for three years to a man who was not my friend. So I know what I am talking about. And to have your mom as your best girlfriend trust me,I also know what I’m talking about when I say you are blessed beyond measure. I just wanted to share that with you because I think sometimes people think they are missing out if they don’t have a big group of friends. Friends should always be loving you unconditionally and uplifting and there for you through the good times and the bad times. you have all of that in your husband and your mom. The joy and laughter that you share with them is bigger and better than any You could share in a friendship with others. I know that there are good people out there and they do make friends that become like family. But you have that built right in relish it enjoy it and appreciate it All that being said, you have all of us too. You are richly blessed when it comes to friendships.
The same for me, you’re never gonna have better friends than your family. My three girls, my husband and my mom are my best friends. They are the ones I call if I need to talk. And it’s unconditional.
It is so fun to watch you and your Mom together. My Mom is in Heaven and I miss her. Watching you both together brings back some special memories.

You might try “sizing” the silk Kimono pants by exchanging the elastic to a new shorter piece. I find that older elastic often loses its elasticity. You can feed a new piece through the waistband by using a large safety pin and then sewing the ends together when done.
I agree I would just take up the elastic.
@@vickibell5222 Do you mean just shorten the existing one? The only problem is that elastic gets old after a while and doesn’t stretch much as time goes on.

Those silk pants can be made smaller by just cutting a little of the elastic in the back off the end & sew the seam back up. If you tuck it, it's not going to look as good in the front. Beautiful set! Longaberger baskets are over the Goodwill auction site in almost perfect condition.
I was so jealous of the wind chimes your mom found..and guess what? I found some🤗 Five dollars and like five feet long!! Scored! I also found a bunny to store my toilet bowl brush..another of your mom’s ideas. Thank you for all the fun videos. It brightens my day for sure.
