I can remember back in the late '80s, we had a "Goodwill Bins" here in small town Ameria (Maryland). But back then, thrifting wasn't all the rage that it is today so they reverted back to the regular way of retailing.
You are so right those fans are so heavy, I don’t blame you for not wanting to ship it. I came across one 8 years ago, and fell in love with it, but knew I could not ship it, and didn’t know if I would have a place for it in my home. But I just could not leave it. Over the years, I have found a place through three different moves that we’ve made. I love that piece. It has even lived outside on my porch and in my garden at times but it is still one of my faves. People have asked me several times over the years if I would consider selling it to them but I still have it ❤️😁
Unbelievable!!! Fabulous finds!!! Maybe, the wooden windows were my favorite and the shutters too! Wooden shutters are fabulous now but I hated them growing up.
Had a chuckle when...... "what is this a faucet. Yeah, but it looks used." isn't everything at the goodwill bins used?!!?!!??!! I just had a to laugh. The fan would have been great on a front porch or screen porch. You always find wonderful items.
Oh ma goodness the fan!! Great find on the shutters. Jenna Pierce just turned two very similar into a propagation wall using small test tubes on her channel and they turned out beautiful…very organic (they were much more expensive). So great find!
I have a several of the old windows, each different.. but i love the one with latch and handles still on it! And all are chippy😊 Love the old shutters! Girl all those old metal fans are super heavy! Wow those big raffia fans were popular in the late 80's-early 90's. Oh wow..Ruby Falls was just an hour from my home in Tennessee! Pretty cool place to visit! The spindle bed was gorgeous! I was given an old piano bench and there was some really old piano books in it, i'd love to find more of the really old pieces. Great finds!😊
The chandelier!!!! I would have loved to see what you did with that, even a whute wax would have been lovely. The missing candles were in the cart below the chandelier!!!
*Julie, my favorite pieces are the windows 🪟 and the shutters❣️ I can't wait to see how you upcycle them....I think the shutters would make a nice set of doors on a bookshelf to keep dust at bay and hide clutter in a bathroom or a kid's room‼️🤪😉*
You scored but the clock was awesome and I would have bought it from you. Also, I would never have left that spindle bed. Even the fan was awesome. I started wat thing you as picked all the cool items
I love all your treasures today! You have a great eye! I do have a questions about picking up windows or other wood items that have old paint on them, do you worry about it being lead paint or do you test them? Asking so I know what needs to be done if I come across items like this. As always, I truly enjoy all your videos!💖
Yes!! Save up all the big stuff she doesn’t want to ship. Do a market day maybe every six months to a year. Pay a small fee to have it at one of the festivals or a spring fair.
Wow I was telling you in my mind if you buy that clock I’ll buy it from you and then you put it back lol. I would also buy the little wallies pears. And that BED….. wowie!!!
I love that fan!
Did anyone else see the faux candle covers down in the bin below the chandelier… I was screaming … it’s right there !! 😂 🕯️
Meeeeeeeee tooooooooo lol
Me too, she has tunnel vision.Wake up, smell the coffee😵💫
Yes, me tooooo…….
Me toooo!
I saw them and was thinking the same!
The shutters and windows were the winners for sure!
You can use pvc to replace light candles
That little round mirror near the end might have made a good base for the cloche you picked up. Looks like today’s haul made up for yesterday!
Wouldn’t that have been pretty!
Thought that myself
My thoughts as well...😊
I would have definitely bought the fan that is such a cool decor piece

The duck napkin rings could just be cute as standing decor with greenery in the hole.

Cloche too small for mirror. One of those darling china dishes you got a while back would go good with it. Great finds today.
The cloche may have fit on the mirror. If so, chalk paint and distress the mirror for an interesting look.

shutters and windows and clocks......OH MY....you have to get them....oh yes and at least one chandelier.
Julie, The Goodwill Bin store you were at today is WAY better than any I've been to. Will you tell me where it's located?
Love the windows!
Don’t pass up items with heart cutouts. You can cover with IOD molded pieces and go from there.
Agreed! I find sooo much stuff with heart cutouts! :)
Ginger chick rehab just did a video on how to get rid of those hearts.
Wow I was telling you in my mind if you buy that clock I’ll buy it from you and then you put it back lol. I would also buy the little wallies pears. And that BED….. wowie!!!
The “cloche” was the lid to a butter dish or perhaps cheese dish. Pressed and/or cut glass, perhaps American Brilliant Cut.
Easy fix! I have put wood appliqués over the hearts. Looks great!
Love those windows too!
#replay Chop that bed, lol
Did you get a price for the spindle bed frame?
windows re my FAVE
If that fan was cheap you could have used the parts for different projects
The bins are a 4 hour drive away.
Chandeliers, clock, fan, spindle bed, no way would I have left them behind🤦🏻♀️
