I've driven the road through Oatman a few times and was looking at homes in Kingman a few years ago. I really like northern Arizona. Thanks for the tour!
Bobby the Burro told me he misses you. Oatman is one of my favorite towns to viist. Great road on the Kingman side and just a neat place. I've only been there twice, sadly. But I will be back!
Been on 66 on my semi once or twice. 66 and business 44 on the east side of Joplin, Missouri are the same. Enjoyed the video Curt and RIDE SAFE OUT THERE!
I haven't done much of 66, but the section from Kingman to Oatman once you get to the mountains is top notch riding. And it's hard to beat the charm of Oatman, even without the burros, which I did not see the one other time I've been there.
@@Ride_0n it's not Loway it's Ioway, my way of saying Iowa. It's right above Misery...I mean Missouri. To the north of us is the "Land of the Squareheads" ( Minnesota). Hang in there and Ride On brother
Parts of 66 are great and have such character and charm. I've ridden most of what I did on this trip before and went back because I loved it and I was in the southwest. The El Rancho in Gallup and Oatman in particular. There's quite a bit of 66 left on my To Do list.
Snob Hill Rd seems to have the largest house in town on the top of the hill. I think the road is well named. mmm, Sturgis babes in Oatman; noted. Not that they'd have anything to do with a Ten old man. Looks like a biker town fer sure. You didn't ride out to Amboy Crater?
The gal in one pic (facing me) in the restaurant was my waitress. Riders love that Oatman. Especially ADV and Harley riders. I skipped the crater as my time was limited. I spent 20-30 min at Roy's, chatted with the gal behind the counter a bit. A couple tour buses rolled in. One before I got there, one shortly before I left.

What a ride thanks for taking us along for the ride 😊
You bet!
We enjoy your rambling commentary. We're from north central Ioway and enjoy riding through that part of the country, especially Utah. Ride on
Where is Loway? I've never heard of it. Google is failing me. Damn, you, Google!

I was always on the look out for gravel. Driven down 66 several times.

albino hippie chicks in the branches? you been reading any Zap comics lately? :D
No, but a fellow rider used to say that about a local road. It became somewhat of a rural legend.
you have a drone equipped for all the aerial shots???
Yes, and I'm FAA certified as well.
