Wish I had known of the Burr Trail Rd. I've ridden past the north end of the Mokki Dugway 3 times and yet to travel it. Beautiful scenery/ride and thanks for bringing us along, Curt. RIDE SAFE OUT THERE!
I stayed in Boulder because the Burr Trail Rd starts literally next to the place where I got coffee. The Dugway is ok, it's just gravel switchbacks, but up top the view is nice. I didn't know about the road to Muley Point, though. Gonna have to take that next time. It's a dirt out and back to a scenic viewpoint. The road is just a couple hundred feet before the start of the Dugway (at the top). Southern Utah is such a great area to ride. This channel is only 18 months old and I have already done 4 videos in Utah. It will be a little while, but I will be back! The good stuff never gets old. Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it. Great video and a great adventure! It's hard to believe that the National Parks restrictions provide any possible benefit to anybody. It's a fine example of bureaucratic bull.
I tell ya… edit g the Death Valley episode sucked, but this one was brutal. AND the whole Burr Trail Switchbacks had to be converted to stills. Over 1/3 of the video is a slide show with the audio from the video underneath. I don’t know what else to do without toasting a $1k+ fine. Hopefully, the EXPLORE Act will pass and I can stop doing slide shows. maybe I should send them links to my videos to show how stupid it makes them look. I love our National Parks, but this is really lame. The day’s ride was awesome and more Scenic and enjoyable than I can convent on the video. The whole trip was just wonderful and I’m really excited to be doing the videos, even the slide show parts. I’ve temporarily bumped up my release schedule to weekly. We’ll see how long ai can keep it up and still work full time.
